What do you want to do?【能力目标】1. Be able to listen and read the words and dialogues: Where do you want to go? What do you want to do?2. Be able to ask and answer questions.【情感目标】The teacher should create a condition where the students can enjoy themselves much while they are learning English. In other words, learning English should be fun, not a boring job. 教学重难点【教学重点】1. 学习并掌握词汇:The relevant words and dialogues: London, Toronto, Sydney2. Be able to talk. 【教学难点】The relevant words and dialogues. 课前准备 Recorder, Multimedia. 教学过程Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activitiesTeacher can let students sing a song to have a relaxation before class and then make them pay attention to their learning.T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again.Ss: Nice to see you again.T: Do you like singing songs?Ss: Yes.T: Lets sing a song together.设计意图:师生同唱26字母歌,歌词简单,节奏上口,降低学生学习英语的畏难情绪。同时为新课学习做下铺垫。Step 2. Lets talk and have a presentation.T: Look! This is Yaoyao. This is Bill. What are they talking?S: T: Good job! How about this picture? What are they talking? S: 设计意图:半封闭式的训练,巩固学生刚学的知识。T: (点击课件,出现B部分人物) Who are they?S: T: What are they talking? Can you guess?S: T: (点击课件,出现对话文本) Can you read?S: Yes.T: Go!S: T: Lets listen and repeat.Ss: 学生听音跟读。T: Look at the pictures. What is it? Where can we see it?S: T: Good. Lets work in 2.Ss: 学生两人一组进行游戏,班内展示,及时评价。T: The UK is beautiful. The USA is beautiful, too. Our motherland-China is beautiful. So we should love our motherland. (点击课件,出现句子。)设计意图:对学生进行德育教育。Step 3. Read the text and tell the main idea of the text in the students own wordsAsk them where they want to go in this summer vacation.Let the students speak in front of the class. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.Step 4. Encourage the students to ask more questions about this part1.
