教学设计课题名称A short story of western painting课型实验课 实践活动课R 课时共( 1 )课时完成一、教学内容解析This unit is concerned with art, especially in paintings. There are four parts of my lesson. Warming up uses a song, Happy New Year, to lead in the topic: The New Years Party is coming and the monitor want to decorate the students classroom with some paintings. But the monitor dont know which painting he should choose, so let the students to help him. Pre-reading uses a guessing game to let the students to talk about what they have already known about the Chinese and Western-style paintings,. At the same time, let the students pay attention to the characteristics of Chinese paintings and and Western-style paintings.Reading is about a short history of western painting. Post-reading uses a discussion to let students make a dialogue to help the monitor. And remind students to use the sentence structures:A: If you were the monitor, Which kind of painting would you like to choose .?B: If I were the monitor, I would like to choose .A: Why do you like.? B: .What about you?二、教学目标设置(一) 教学目标At the end of the period, the students will be able to.1. Language knowledge (知识目标) (1) Learn the following words and expressions: realistic/abstract/religious traditional /modern colourful/natural/wonderful /nice /sense of beauty harmony, nature, peace(2) Learn the following sentence structures:A: If you were the monitor, Which kind of painting would you like to choose ?B: If I were the monitor, I would like to choose .A: Why do you like. ? B: What about you?2. Language skills (能力目标)Learn about the history of Western Painting, and develop their reading skills, such as skimming and scanning, so as to enhance their language ability.3.Emotional cultivation (情感目标)(1) Show great interest in paintings and gain a knowledge of the western paintings.(2) To better understand the importance of team work.4.Learning strategies (策略目标)Improve the ability of analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of a particular thing.(二)教学重点1. To help the students grasp the main idea of the text and comprehend the text.2. To let the students grasp some useful words and expressions and some sentence structures. 3. To help the students learn more about western paintings.(三) 教学难点To improve the students reading skills: skimming and scanning.四、教学策略分析(一)本课采用 阅读前阅读中阅读后 三大板块构成的阅读教学模式,利用情景教学法、任务型教学法调动广大同学的学习积极性。(二)培养学生与老师、同学交流信息,交换看法,小组合作学习和自主探究学习。(三)采用多媒体课件作为主要的教学手段,同时,借助黑板、粉笔等辅助手段开展教学活动。五、教学过程Step 1Warming-upand Pre-readingListen to a song, Happy New Year, and ask students:T: We all know the New Years Party is coming and the monitor want to decorate our classroom with some paintings. B: What about you?Useful words :realistic/abstract/religious traditional /modern colourful/natural/wonderful /nice /sense of beauty harmony, nature, peace设计意图让学生使用本单元学的虚拟语气句型讨论并表达, 假设自己是班长,会选择哪幅画来装饰教室,来检测语言输出,交流彼此对画作的理解和欣赏。Step 5 Homework1.Read the text again and underline the key sentences.2.Give your advice to the monitor after class!3.Find more western paintings to appreciate using what you learned today.设计意图通过再读课文把握文中关键句型句式来展开进一步语言学习,学生还可以在课后自行寻找西方名家画作来巩固本节课所学的知识。Black-board design六、教学反思本课的设计思路是:元旦节即将来临,班长想用一些画来装饰教室,但不知道选哪种风格的画好,所以问同学们可不可以帮他,然后引出今天的主题 先玩一个看画猜画家的游戏,先给出中国的三幅画,猜画家,然后总结一下中国画的特点。再给出四幅跟课文有关的西方不同时期的画,猜画家,总结特点。学生说出一些西方画的特点,然后进入课文学习更多关于西方画的特点。进入了再通过几个问题来掌握课文主旨大意。填表格来总结课文中出现各个时期画的特点。最后让学生用所学的知识,说出四副不同画的风格,最后来个讨论,如果你是班长,你会选哪种画来装饰教室。最后用两句话进行感情的升华。本堂课教学设计完整,过程流畅,课堂气氛活跃,最后讨论部分,学生也踊跃参加,本堂课以培养学生可心素养为理论基础,不断地向学生输入关键信息,最后通过讨论对话,达到一个输出的效果。但本堂课也有不足之处,有些教学指令不明确,学生不能很好的理解老师的话,导致部分环节稍显沉闷。(一)通过本课我发现学生阅读理解存在以下几个方面问题1. 词汇量有限。对词汇理解和掌握是影响阅读的重要因素,从某种意义上说,学生的阅读能力与其词汇量是成正比的,词汇储备不足,又会导致学生阅读障碍重重,丧失阅读兴趣。2. 缺乏有效的阅读策略与技巧。有的学生不懂得阅读技巧,他们在阅读时往往从前读到后,用相同的速度和方式理解不同文体的文章,而不是根据不同的文体采(板书设计)取不同方式获得主要信息,这样往往是事倍而功半,吃亏不讨好;也有许多学生在阅读过程中,试图记住所有的内容,习惯于逐字逐句地看,试图记住每个句子的意思,时间与精力过于集中
