Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:sitcom, news, soap opera, mind, stand 能掌握以下句型: What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand them. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them. 2) 能了解以下语法: 动词不定式结构做动词的宾语;后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。3)学会陈述自己的看法;学会谈论自己的喜好。2. 情感态度价值观目标: 学会谈论流行文化,了解各类电视节目的名称和表达自己的喜好。 注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念,大力培养学生们的跨文化意义,形成自己独立的个性。3能力培养目标:培养学生的自主学习能力和合作学习能力二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习掌握各类电视节目的名称。2) 掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语;了解后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。 2. 教学难点:掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语;了解后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。三、教学过程. Lead-in T:How was your weekend? What did you do last weekend?S:It was I T:Did you watch TV? Do you like to watch TV?S:,T:What kinds of TV shows do you know? Lets see. Presentation1. Present some pictures of TV shows Ask students to learn the names of the TV shows. 2. Ask Students to read the names of the TV shows3. Check if they have known them. 1a 1. Ask students to look at the TV shows in 1a and read them. 2. Ask students to look at the pictures and match the TV shows with them.3. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Ask students to look at the conversation in the picture. Let two volunteers to read it before the class. Then ask Ss to read it together.5. Present the conversation . Explain the expression. Ask Ss to explain the other expressions. Then read them together. Pair work Present the pictures of the TV shows and expressions one by one. Ask Ss to use them to make conversations. Listening 1. Tell Ss to read the shows in the box. Make sure they know the meaning of the shows. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the shows1-4. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Ask students to listen and repeat. Pair work 1. Let Ss read the conversation after the teacher. Then let Ss make their own conversation using the shows and expressions in the box. 2. Ask some pairs to present their conversations before the class.Listening1. Ask students to read the words in 2a2. Play the tape and ask students to listen and number the TV shows in the order they hear them.3. Check the answers.4. Ask students to read the sentences in 2b.5. Play the tape and ask students to listen and complete the sentences.6. Check the answers.7. Play the tape again and ask students to listen and repeat.Pair work1. Ask students to look at the TV shows in 2a and work in pairs to ask and answer questions about them.2. Make a conversation in pairs using the information that is true for them.3.
