一、Teaching aims:1、Knowledge:To learn the new words: half, past, oclockUsing phrases to indicate time (e.g. Its half past six.)2、Ability: Using imperative to give instructions (e.g. Get up, Kitty.)Asking “wh-“questions to find out the time( e.g. What time is it? )3、Emotion aims: Training students to develop good habits early.二、Teaching philosophy：(教学理念)美国教育学家斯宾塞也竭力提倡“快乐教育”，要求教育尽量激励儿童的学习兴趣，让儿童带者快乐的情绪学习，从而变求知为一种乐事。教师要充分考虑儿童的认知及心理、生理发展特点，在课堂教学中，充分有效地激发学生的兴趣，更有利于英语的学习。现在使用的牛津版小学英语教科书生动有趣，图文并茂，应用性强，涵盖范围极广，虽说有一定的难度，但比较适合儿童口味，可以说是集知识性、趣味性、教育性于一体，形式多样。我在教学中根据儿童好奇心强又活泼好动的特点，利用多媒体设计了看图猜时间，听音猜时间等活动。并且课前让学生亲自动手制作了钟表，在课堂上用自己制作的钟表来配合老师进行听音拨时钟的游戏，而且利用自制的钟表和同学进行交流，学生都能全身心的投入。整节课在轻松愉快的氛围中进行。除了采用新鲜多样的学习形式，我还利用了动画歌曲来激发学生的学习兴趣，让孩子们愿意学习，乐于学习，对英语学科感兴趣。三、Teaching Process:Step One: Warming-up1. Sing a song :Numbers2. Lead-in: Lets count the numbers. Listen and guess, its a clock.3、Ask “Whats this?” to elicit “Its a clock.”What can the clock do? It can tell us the time.Step Two: Presentation1.(Show a clock)Look! What time is it? Its three oclock.Turn the pointer of the clock and do asks and answers about the time.Its six oclock. I get up.Its seven oclock. I go to school.Its twelve oclock. I eat lunch.2.(Show a clock) What time is it? Its half pastAsk “Is it five oclock?” to elicit “No, its half past five.”Turn the pointer of the clock and do asks and answers about the time.Its half past six. I do my homework.Its half past nine. I go to bed.3、Look at the picture and say the time. What time is it? Its4、Practice: Teacher says the time, pupils set up the clock. Pair work -role play5、listen and write6、Tell the students that they are going to listen to a story about Kitty. Her mother tells her the time and asks her to get up.7、Play the recording. Students try to understand the meaning.Its six oclock in the morning , mother asks Kitty to get up. But she doesnt get up till eight oclock.
