Chapter 2:Spare time深圳南山外国语学校 屈华【教学内容】The Integrated Primary English TOC edition 4A Chapter 2 Spare time. 本课是第三课时,教会四年级学生如何自如的表达自己的课余时间安排,学习有关的词组和句型,并拓展相应的句型和词汇。本课是一节非网络跨越式课。【教学目标】1. 知识目标:a. 继续巩固前两课时中所学的词组和句型:ride ones bicycle, read the newspaper, play computer games, play the piano, play football, go to the supermarket, etc.What do you usually do in your spare time? What does he/she usually do in his/her spare time?b. 通过操练,拓展新的句型。Where do you live?Who do you live with?How many brothers and sisters have you got?c. 学习故事,拓展听说通过对故事Camping 的理解,进一步巩固所学句型,并且拓展相应的词汇和句型,提高学生的听说能力以及理解能力。最终能够用自己的话来讲述故事大意。2. 能力目标:a. 课前的值日报告,通过学生的report 培养学生的听说能力。b. 通过两两说、小组说等形式,培养和提高学生的口语交际能力,协作能力以及运用英语进行思维的能力。c. 通过改编歌曲,来激发学生的学习兴趣和培养他们的创新能力。d. 借助课件,有助于学生更好的用英语交流,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生自主学习的意识和能力。并逐步培养和提高学生运用现代信息技术辅助学习的意识和能力。最终达到语言的综合运用。3. 情感目标:a. 通过课堂小组活动,培养学生的合作意识和协作精神。b. 通过集体阅读故事,使学生养成独立思考和自学的能力。【资源准备】ppt 以及网上下载的故事和歌曲。【活动过程】Step I Duty report课前的报告,使学生们养成听说英语的习惯。让一个值日生任意讲述自己的故事,并提问全体学生。Step II Revision1) T:Today lets go on to learn Chapter 2 Spare time。Spare time means free time, when you can do whatever you want。So what time do you have off? (T指Teacher, Ss指students。下同) Ss: on Sundays or Saturdays after class or after school during your holiday2) Practice T: What do you usually do in your spare time? Ss: I usually play football after school. ( ask individuals to answer this question first, then ask Ss to make group discussion. Then ask the one of the group members to give the report.) The students answers may like the following: I usually play football in my spare time. He usually plays football in his spare time.在此环节是在师生对话的基础上的group work,学生可以通过此环节锻炼自己的听说能力,大胆开口说英语。并且练习了我们以前学过的语法:第三人称单数。3) Sing a songSing a song then change the script of the song to make up new songs. The script of this song is the following:Lets play a game, lets play a game. Lets play baseball.唱歌这一环节,一方面复习了我们所学的词组,另一方面通过改编歌曲,培养了孩子们的创新能力。Lets play a game, lets play a game. Lets play baseball.4) Practice Ss read the dialogue:A: Hello, B: Hello. Where do you live?A: I live in Sunny Bay. How about you?B: I live in Sunny Bay, too. Who do you live with?A: I live with my parents and grandparents.B: How many brothers and sisters have you got?A: Ive got two brothers and no sisters.B: By the way, what is your hobby?A: I like swimming.B: What do you usually do in your summer holiday?A: I usually swim. What about you?B: I like traveling. I usually travel to some other cities in my summer holiday.A: Sounds good. I have to go. Bye.B: See you.学生分角色朗读以上对话,然后选择不同的时间段进行两两对话:教师用ppt给出学生例子(1) after class/ school (play football, do ones homework, draw pictures, watch TV, etc.) (2) on Saturdays/ Sundays (go to art classes, play computer games, go to the supermarket, etc)(3) during the Chinese New Year(play fireworks, eat dumplings, get lucky money, visit my grandparents, etc)(4) during your summer holiday(go to the swimming pool, ride my bicycle, read books, etc.) 学生根据不同的时间,设想不同的活动,自由对话。此环节是拓展环节,目的在于锻炼学生的听说的基础上,发挥学生的想象力,拓展词汇和句型。同时培养学生用英语思维的习惯和协作能力。 Step Stories:1. Students read a short story together, then answer some question. CampingI like to go camping with my family. Camping is not like staying at home.When I go camping, I sleep in a sleeping bag. At home, I sleep in a bed.When I go camping, we stay in a tent(帐篷). At home, I stay in my room.When we go camping, my mom cooks over a campfire(营火). At home, she cooks over a stove(炉).When we go camping, my dad catches fishes from the stream(小溪). At home, he buys fish from the market.When we go camping, I watch falling stars from the hill. At home, I watch them from the porch(走廊).When we go camping, I hike(远足) in the woods. At home, I walk on the sidewalk.When we go camping, I sing by the campfire. At home, I sing to the tunes(曲调) on the radio.When we go camping, I wash in cold water from the stream. At home, I wash in warm water in the faucet(水龙头).I have fun because camping is different! I like to go camping with my family. Questions:1. What does the boy usually do when he goes camping?2. What does he usually do when he is at home?3. What does his mom usually do when they go camping?4. What does his mom usually do when she is at home?5. What does his dad usually do when they go camping?6. What does his dad usually do when he is at home?2. Group workWrite down the key words of each answer on the blackboard, later help the students to tell this story in groups using the key words.3.
