Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 5 is the fifth lesson in Unit 1, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject staying healthy. Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 5 mainly talks about Jane s lucky life, because of Janes diet is healthy. 教学目标 【知识目标】1. Learn and use the new words in specific language situations and reading skill practice.2. Talk about the problems they may meet every day and find ways to solve the problems by learning from different examples and getting help from others.【能力目标】Improve reading ability of using English.【情感目标】Through the study of the lesson can make the students learn about the ways of study.【教学重点】To master the new words and phrases.【教学难点】To talk about the ways to solve the problems in their life. 课前准备 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程Step 1. Warm-upFree talk: 1. Can disabled people live a happy life? Why or why not? 2. If you have a problem, what do you do first?Step 2. Presentation1. Show the new words (with their pictures).2. They encourage me to lose weight.But she dares to try many things. dare在本句中为实义动词,意为“敢,敢于”,其后多接带to的不定式,dare to do sth.意为“敢做某事”。dare也可作情态动词,意为“敢”,其后接动词原形,通常用于否定句或疑问句,一般不用于肯定句。focus on意为“集中于,致力于”,表示在一段时间内专注于某一件事情。focus ones attention/mind/effort on sth.把某人的注意力/想法/努力集中在某事上。Step 3.
