Unit 2 Bens birthday镇江市实验小学 王骊雅 212003教材简析:本单元围绕“Ben的生日”这一主题,从谈论生日的具体话题入手,到邀请朋友参加生日聚会,小客人来访、祝贺、送礼等情节,把有关“询问日”、“邀请”、“征求意见”等日常交际用语、词汇和句型有机地结合起来,体现在对话和课文中。本单元既呈现了十分丰富的语言材料,又展示了英语国家“过生日”的文化风俗和习惯。在教学中要根据学生的兴趣和需要开展丰富多彩的活动,着重引导学生体会、了解英语国家人们“过生日”的风俗习惯,以培养学生跨文化交际能力。目标预设:1. 四会掌握单词和句型:birthday,date, What date is it today? Its Whens your birthday? My birthdays on What would you like as a birthday present? Id like 2.能简单掌握序数词的表达方式。 3.能听懂、会说、会读单词和日常交际用语和句型August,September, October,November,December,My birthdays coming. Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoon, too? 4.学习待客礼仪,了解有关“生日”的风俗,增强生活情趣,培养热爱集体,关心他人的感情。教学重点与难点:重点:目标中的1、3难点:目标中的2设计理念:本节课,以学生发展为本,结合学生的认知规律、生活经验、实践活动,吸取时代信息,创造性地处理教材,使教学内容更为丰富生动,使教材走进学生,积极采用直观教学法、任务型教学法、情景教学法等,使每个学生都平等地参与学习。设计思路:本课的新授知识较多,第一课时不能面面俱到,我的重点是让学生四会掌握三个句型和简单掌握序数词的表达方式。为此以学生津津乐道的“生日”话题展开,全课时完成一份调查表格,以动画片的方式将课文分为两段,分层教学,并通过专项的一些习题辅助学生理解课文,掌握重难点。教学过程: Step1Free talk T:Hello,children!S:Hello,Miss Wang.T:What day is it today?S:Its Monday.T:What date is it today ?(CAI:红色闪烁date)教学“date”发音:元音【ei】拓展:找出更多的单词latecagemake.ect并且拼写。解释中文:今天的日期是什么?T:Its the 28th of September.(手势比划日期)(CAI:September)教学“September”(拼读)What month comes after September? October(依次推出November,December)总结尾音berT:How are you today, S1? S1:Fine.T: How about you, S2?S2:Im not good.(The girl looked ill.) Summary and chant(CAI)介绍序数词的表达规则。First,second,third缩写分别为(1st,2nd,3rd)分别是数字加上每个单词的最后两个字母。接下来的数字为规则变化分别为基数词后加th,除(fifth)。以ty结尾的,y变ie再加th.如twentieth, thirtieth。第二十几、三十几只要变化个位上的数字就行了。如,twenty-first, thirty-first.Lets have a chant.一、二、三特别记。(first,second,third)八去t,九省e。(eighth,ninth)Ve结尾,f来替(fifth,twelfth)Ty结尾, y改为 ie(fortieth,fiftieth)再加th,保证不偏离。若是几十几,只变个位就可以。Step 4.Work in pairsWhat date is it today ?Its Whens your birthday?Its on Step 5.Do some exercise1、句形转换It is the second of December.
