单元:Unit 5 课题:What do they do? 课时: 2 课型:新授【教学内容】Grammar time, Fun time, Sound time & Culture time【教学目标】(一)知识目标1. 能理解并掌握Grammar time中的一般现在时特殊疑问句第二人称和第三人称单数的形式及其回答,还有动词第三人称单数形式用法规则。2. 能理解并体会辅音字母y在单词中的发音。3. 了解英式英语与美式英语对表达同一事物或意思时的不同用词。(二)能力目标1. 能正确、熟练地运用本单元所学句型与词汇。2. 学生能够通过练习和观察,自己发现并总结动词第三人称单数形式的转换规律。3. 能有节奏地朗读语音部分小诗,体会其韵律和节奏美。4. 学会用英语介绍全家并制作My family英语手抄报。(三)情感目标 了解policeman和firefighter在英式英语和美式英语中的不同表达, 从而了解不同国家的语言文化。 【教学重点】理解并掌握Grammar time中的内容,并能正确运用What doesdo? Hes/Shes a He/She 【教学难点】能够正确运用动词的第三人称单数形式来表达他人职业特点。【教学准备】教学光盘,每人准备四张人物卡片和四张职业卡片,人物头像卡片,练习纸等。【课前先学】1. 导P43自主先学第一部分。2. 准备一张全家福照片,自己练说用英语介绍自己家人的工作、爱好等,为课上的制作“My family”手抄报做准备。【教学过程】先 学 预 设后 教 策 略二次调整Step 1. Preparation1. Review Story time.转盘游戏:教师用废光盘制作一个转盘,上面标好箭头,在黑板上画一个圆,四等分后分别贴上Story time中出现的四个人物头像,和学生一起玩转盘游戏,转到哪个人物就对其进行介绍。Eg. This is Mikes father. He is a teacher. He teaches English. He has a lot of students.2. Introduce one of your family members.Eg. This is my father. He is tall. His eyes are big. His hair is short. He is a doctor. He helps sick people. He likes playing football.Step 2. Presentation & Practice1. Grammar time.(1) Look and read.教师安排学生两人一组,朗读第一和第二个表格中呈现的句子,一人读问句,一人读答句。T: Now, lets learn Grammar time. Open your books at P. 51, work in pairs, one ask and the other answer.(2) Practice.T: Close your books and fill in the blanks. What do you do? Im a teacher. What does your father do? Hes a policeman. What does his mother do? Shes a writer. What do they do? What is the letter “y” pronounced? T: The phonetic symbol is /a/. ProductionFun timePlay a game. (翻牌游戏)(1) Ask and answer.教师将全班分为两组,然后出示有关八个职业的人物图片,要求两组学生来抢答。T: What does he do?G1: Hes a doctor. He helps sick people.T: What does she do?G2: Shes a teacher. She teaches Music.(2) Make an example between the teacher and a student.(3) Work in groups.Step 4. ProgressMake a poster of My family.(1) Design your poster.(2) Stick your family photo on your poster.(3) Write some introductions on your poster.(4) Share your poster in groups.(5) Show your poster with the whole class.用游戏的形式将原本枯燥的课文复习变得有趣,学生可能不能站在旁人的角度介绍人物,如出现照搬书本中的语言,用My father is a teacher. 教师可提醒其:Is he your father? 促使其自我纠错。学生的介绍语可能只停留在本课所出现的句型上,教师要启发其介绍更多,让其活用以前学过的外貌的介绍、爱好的介绍等,要求比第一课时课末尾的制作、介绍名片运用到更多的语言。学生如出现问题和回答不对应的情况,教师要及时发现并提醒。学生独立完成后,小组讨论校对。学生可能出现的错误:第四小题,they所搭配的助动词应为do,回答时搭配的be动词为are。让学生自己发现动词第三人称单数的用法和改写规则,如说不出小组讨论后总结。教师可请其余学生补充或适当提示。(用法:在一般现在时中,当主语是第三人称单数时,谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式,即常在动词原形后加-s 或-es。在疑问句中,助动词do要变为does。改写规则:参考导学案P. 43 第二部分语法小知识,补充读音规则。1. 一般情况下,直接加s,在清辅音后读/s/,在元音和浊辅音后读/z/;2. 以s, x, ch, sh, o结尾的,加es,读/z/(特别说明:go, do后加es,但读音为/gz/,/dz/);3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的,变y为i,再加es,读/z/;4. 特殊变化形式,如:have-has。)第三小题也可能出现错误,学生有点思维惯性了,教师要启发他们仔细观察主语,并要求学生划出主语,然后判断动词是否需要使用第三人称单数形式。从词到句再到段,一步步促使学生加深对这一语法点的认识。这部分不仅有本课出现的语法知识,还混合了他们前面所学的语法知识,学生可能会有所混淆,此时,教师应教会学生适当圈画关键词等答题策略,以培养他们细致读题和分析的习惯。学生可能不理解wish,could这两个单词,可让他们结合图片来理解。在用黑板上的词编新的歌谣时,组长负责组织讨论,请记录员负责记录,最后请另外的组员汇报结果。当学生不能准确读出July时,教师可给出u的发音/。给出评价标准,及时完成书本P57页的Ticking time第四点,评价方式为学生自我评价。这环节让学生了解下英英与美英在不同事物或意思上的表达区别。书本上还出现了The US和The UK,不一定所有的学生都了解,可以让知道的学生说一说他们分别是哪个国家及全称,并介绍US和UK前需加the。学生对于英式英语及美式英语方面的不同不太了解,教师可以适时补充,同时可让他们利用网络的力量获取更多英语知识。比较常见的不同:In the US In the UK出租车 cab taxi糖果 candy sweet电影 movie film商店 store s
