It tells us we should take more sports to keep ourselves healthy. 教学目标【知识目标】Students learn to use the following new words, passport, the Pacific, opposite, glove, couple, gentle, honest, rope, rapid, over, shame, Canada, resort, Canadian, slope, and phrases check in(at), fall over, keep ones balance etc.【能力目标】Imitating and self-study; cooperation【情感目标】The usage of the key words to talk about sport. 教学重难点【教学重点】Learn the new words and phrases. 【教学难点】Understand the passage on the basis of mastering the new words. 课前准备 Multimedia, radio-tape 教学过程Step 1.Lead-in.Let the students have a guess by showing pictures(通过图片展示,以问答的方式展开).T: Ask: Look at the pictures and say what kind of sport it is.2Ss: .T: Sport is important to all of us. It can help us to keep active and healthy. And when we play sports, we can easily make friends. We can also learn good qualities from the excellent athletes.
