一教学目标英语课程标准指出: 激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的英语学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略, 发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是中学英语教学的基本任务,在认真分析教材的基础上, 我又结合了学生的实际,将本课时的目标确定如下:Knowledge Objective1.Some new words and phrases.2. Go on learning to use the present perfect tense to describe what the students want to say.Ability Objective1. Improve students reading, comprehension and expression abilities.2. To understand the reading strategies to improve the students reading ability.Moral ObjectiveLove our hometown,our country and our parents by learning this passage.二、学情分析学生是学习的主体,对学生情况的分析是教学工作的关键环节。八年级学生的特点: 八年级学生经过近两年系统的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读、写过渡,通过近两年新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了自主学习、初步自主合作,分析归纳以及课堂展示的能力。学生们也正处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣至关重要。而本单元正是一个引发学生兴趣的契机,利用学生身边的实例, 把学生带入精彩的课堂学习。 基于以上学情,我制定了以下学法:1. 抓住用英语交际的机会,深刻感知、积极体验、大胆实践。2. 积极参与,善于合作,培养团队合作意识。3. 依据:新课程标准提出的感知-体验-实践-参与-合作, 以及形成性评价。三、重点难点Teaching key points:1. Key words: search, among ,crayon, shame, regard, count , century,opposite, especially, childhood, consider, hold2. Phrases:search for ,go back,consider as ,across from,in ones opinion , according to, close toTeaching difficult points:1.Using the reading strategies to read and solve their questions.2.Teaching Methods:四、教学过程4.1第一学时4.1.1教学活动活动1【导入】.WarmupCheck the new words and phrases .(Ask a student to help with reading them)活动2【讲授】.Leadin1.Listen to a song to make the students feel what it reminds them of.2.Show some pictures about our hometown and lead the students to think of their own hometown:活动3【活动】.Discuss ,guess,talkanddoexercise.1. Discuss the questions in 2a in groups,using some pictures to show the first question,then check them.2. Show the other two questions and discuss in groups,then check them.3. Guess what we are talking about.Lead them to think of their hometowns and love them.4. While reading.(1) Before reading: Read the passage and find out main ideas of each paragraph.Using the strategy of skimming.(2) While reading:Using the strategy of scanning to find the answer to the question.(3) While reading: Close reading ,read each paragraph carefully and answer the questions or do exercises.5. After reading.(1)Do 2b.Then check their answers and read them together.(2)Do 2c.Then check their answers.6.Think.
