Unit9Haveyoueverbeentoamuseum?Good afternoon, everyone. Its my great honor to have this opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas.Today Im going to talk about Unit9Haveyoueverbeentoamuseum? The teaching content is Section A of Unit9 of Go for it, Grade Eight. My teaching design includes Analysis of the teaching material, Analysis of the students, Teaching and learning methods, Teaching procedures and Blackboard Design.Firstly, lets focus on the teaching material.The lesson is focused on the topic of fun places. Let the students talk about thePerfectTensewiththepatternsofHaveeverbeento?Iveneverbeento. The topic of this unit is close to our daily life, students are familiar with it. so its easy to encourage them to communicate with others. According to the(Standard of English Curriculum, and combination with this unit , I divided the teaching aims into three parts:They are Knowledge aims, Ability Aims ,Emotion Aims.The first one is Knowledge Aims:By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read, recognize, and use these words:amusement, somewhere, camera,invention. And this sentence pattern:Haveeverbeento?Iveneverbeento.The second one is Ability Aims, By the end of the lesson, Ss can make up a similar dialogue. Understand the dialogue better and improve the four kills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Besides , students can develop their ability of thinking independently.In this lesson, the emotional aim is to to develop the spirit of cooperation through group work and pair-discussion and arouse students interests in English learningAnd, the key points of this lesson are : a. New words and phrases b. Sentence pattern: The difficult points are: a. The new structure - b. How to develop their communicative ability.Secondly, let me talk about the students.The students have learned English for some years. They understand some words and simple sentences. They are curious, active and interested in competition and various activities. They enjoy learning through cooperation in a relaxing atmosphere.Now, let me talk about teaching and learning methods. In this lesson, my teaching methods include audio-visual teaching method, communicative teaching method,five-step teaching method and task-based teaching method. Besides, a computer, blackboard, a tape recorder, a projector are needed as the teaching aids.As for the learning method, it is the combination of independent learning and cooperative learning.Fourthly, lets focus on the teaching procedures.I will finish the lesson in 5 steps. But before teaching, I will divide the whole class into 6 groups to do competitions while finishing different tasks in this lesson. Step 1. Warming-up and lead-in(3 min)After greeting with the students, I will begin the lesson by free talk. And then I will show the pictures and let the students talk about? Purpose: Arouse the students interests of study. Bring in new subject:?Step 2. Presentation(听说课)With the help of the PPT, I will introduce the new structure? Finish 1a, explain each sentence. Let the students express their opinions. In this part, we need to help students understand these sentences and the grammar.And then finish the practices: 1b、2a、2b. Before listening, we should help students understand the requirement, and give some guidance. The most important thing in Presentation is imitating. After listening, arrange students to browse and imitate the listening material. The purpose of this is to present the new sentences in the situation. With imitating, students can correct their pronunciation.Step 3. Consolidation Read 1c and 2c. And then , pair work, group work and free talk. After that, let the students show their dialogue. Purpose: The conversation is related to the students real life experiences. It helps the students understand the language easily and naturally. Besides, the activity is to develop students ability of communication, and also, their ability of cooperation will be well developed.Step 4. Sum upIn this step, ask students to revise what new words and phrases they learned from this lesson.The purpose is to give students deeper impression of the new words and the new structure.Step 5 Homework Let the stud
