七年级英语课外阅读教学初探 Mary教学案例荣炳中学 邓荣华教学目标1. 谈论个性特征。2. 通过本课时的学习,培养学生听、说、读、写四种综合运用语言的能力。3. 通过学习语言知识,培养学生的知识迁移力和发散思维能力。情感目标通过本课时的学习,学会运用所学知识描述周围同学、朋友,并学会与他们友好相处。教学难点一 掌握词汇Fashionable, certainly, cost, style, cool, surely, fat二 理解句型She is a fashionable girl. Certainly, this costs her much money. Her hair style is different from other girls. You may know how often she changes her schoolbag.三 短文写作Write a short passage about a friend. 课前准备The multimedia computer, a blackboard and exercise paper.教学过程Step 1.Warm up and presentation.1. Free talk.1) Good afternoon, everyone. Nice to meet you!2) How are you?3) Where are you from?4) What do you like/dislike?(新授课前的free talk为学生巩固已学知识及再现本课中的句型搭建了舞台,为进一步教学该材料做了充分的铺垫。)2. Lead inT:Do you have a friend in our class?(为学生参与课堂准备了话题,且调动了他们的学习兴趣,活跃了课堂气氛,充分发挥他们自身的主动性。)S: Yes, we do.T: I have a new friend here today. Do you want to know her? Now let me show you some pictures of her. ( 该活动能吸引学生积极参与课堂,活跃课堂气氛,帮助他们消除紧张心理,很快拉近学生同教师之间的距离。)3. PresentationShow Ss some pictures . Ss look at the pictures and learn some new words and phrases about the passage.(图片吸引学生,激发他们说的欲望。让他们的思维不受任何约束。)T: What do you think of the girl in the picture ?S: She is beautiful/pretty.T: What color is her hair?S: Its yellow. ExerciseWritten exercises about language points.(通过书面作业,不仅巩固本课所学内容,并培养了学生听、说、读、写四项技能并得以全面发展。)Step 8. HomeworkComplete all the exercises.Finish writing your passage教学反思本节课内容是一篇课外短文阅读的教学,目的是要通过阅读短文教会学生如何获取主要信息。学生通过对文章的阅读,学会如何找出所需要的具体信息,培养学生的课外阅读技巧,注重阅读策略的培养,提高整体感知语言的能力。学生是在了解所提供的个人信息时,学会如何使用语言,学会对课文整体意思的理解。本课文材料内容较少,我在设计该课时结合该课内容,先从学生实际出发,在同学生进行Free talk时,就事先准备了一些与本课题有关的问题,如学生的爱好,个性等有关问题,既很快同学生打成一片,又有利于学生们了解本课主要内容。通过教师的呈现,学生对教材有了初步了解,然后再通过他们自己通读从而进一步了解课文大意,对于短文中个别生词,我写在黑板上帮助学生解决了。然后我让他们通过词型配对来解决生词问题,减轻他们阅读中生词的障碍。帮助他们确立阅读自信。通过该步骤,学生对课文内容有初步了解。接下来让学生再自由读
