Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island yet?Section A2 (3a-3c) 教学设计郭镇初级中学 刘艳萍一、教学内容: 本节课为人教版新目标英语(Go for it)八年级下册Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island yet?Section A的第二课时的内容。本单元主要是以“读书”和“音乐”为主题展开教学,通过经典故事中的情节为话题展开教学,让学生初步了解并熟悉现在完成时这一结构及形式。而本课是第八单元的第二课时通过课前的导入让学生初步明白本课的学习内容,并通过鲁滨逊漂流记中的精彩段落,让学生掌握并运用现在完成时,并通过课文的学习,引导学生发现鲁滨逊同困难斗争时的坚韧毅力和不屈不饶的精神。 二、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握本节课所学的新单词及重要用法:tool, ship, sand, gun, cannibal, towards, land, island, bring back, the mark of, not long after that 2)理解并掌握文中重要句子Although I have lost everything, I have not lost my life.I named him Friday because that was the day I met him.2.能力目标: 熟悉并掌握现在完成时的结构和用法,学会向他人复述故事情节,向他人讲故事。 3. 情感态度价值观目标: 本课内容故事性很强,趣味性也较强,通过课文的学习,引导学生发现并学习鲁滨逊同困难斗争时的坚韧毅力和不屈不饶的精神。 三、教学重难点:1.教学重点:1) 能掌握本节课所学的新单词及重要用法:tool, ship, sand, gun, cannibal, towards, land, island, bring back, the mark of, not long after that 2)理解并掌握文中重要句子Although I have lost everything, I have not lost my life.I named him Friday because that was the day I met him.3)熟悉现在完成时的结构并学会运用2.教学难点:1)学习并掌握现在完成时的结构及用法;2)引导学生学会复述故事内容。四、教学准备录音机、多媒体课件、图片五、教学过程Step1. GreetingsGreat the whole class as usual and have a free talk.Step2. Lead-in(The teacher presents some pictures on the screen and asks Ss to say out the English names)T: In last class, we talked so many famous books. Have you read them? Or which book have you read?S1: I have read Tom Sawyer.S2: I have read Oliver Twist.S3: I have read .T: Have you read Robinson Crusoe?Ss: Yes.(部分学生回答) T:Who can tell the story for us in Chinese?(个别学生向大家讲述鲁滨逊漂流记的故事情节)T: Now this class we will come to study it. (板书课题及呈现教学目标)Step3. New words teachingThe teacher presents the new words on the screen and help Ss to read and remember them. Then have a check together.Step4. Reading1. Listen to the tape and try to underline the patterns about the Present Perfect Tense. (标注结构并掌握形式)2. Read it carefully and answer the following question.Did Robinson have something to eat at first?What did he bring back then?What does Robinson Crusoe wait for?When did he see the two men? What happened to them?Why does Robinson Crusoe call the man Friday?3. Read it for two minutes and grasp the main idea of the article. Read and have a summaryT: After the article, you may get the main idea of Robinson. Now can you answer the following question without books?(呈现5个Wh-问题),帮助 Who were in the article? Whats the relationship between? Whats the matter with Robinson? How did he deal with difficulty? When did he see Friday? Whats wrong with him? Did Robinson save him? How? What do you think of Robinson?Then help Ss to summarize the article.(必要时呈现文章挖空练习)(设计目的:通过呈现5个Wh-问题,帮助进一步熟悉文章内容,掌握大意;同时通过挖空练习,锻炼学生信息提炼能力及口头表达能力。)Step5. Discussion and Free TalkRobinson was a brave man. He never gave up when he was in trouble. If you are Robinson, what will you do?(设计目的:引导学生发现并学习鲁滨逊的精神)Step6. Assignment and Homework1. Recite the new words and the expressions2.
