Questions:Do you like reading novels? Whats your favorite novel? Why? 设计意图:教师通过随机访问的方式来活跃课堂气氛,并且让学生对科幻小说的特点有一个基本的了解,为接下来的任务奠定基础。步骤2:词汇学习 Ss are asked to look up some words in the dictionary before class and fill in the blanks with these words. English Parts of speech(词性) Chinese 1 be obsessed with phrase _2 take in phrase _ 3 haunt _ _4 eternal _ _5 revenge _ _6 hatred _ _7 miserable _ _8 monster _ _9 disgust _ _10 evil _ _Fill in the blanks with the words above in their correct forms.1. There is nothing like a bad cold to make you feel _.设计意图:鉴于本课有一些难度比较大的词汇,可能会对学生理解文章产生一些障碍,因此布置学生在课前查阅一些重点词汇,包括词性和中文意思。然后再设置句子填空,让学生能通过语境进一步理解这些词汇。步骤3:小组展示Group work: Every group uses a certain perspective to appreciate the story and then share what they learn with other groups.Students are divided into five groups. RevelationMessages in the storythe romantic Prometheus(example)1.Victors creation is an act against nature2. Maybe the story is educational(有教育意义的) for you. Maybe it reminds you of some other stories. Share with us.(There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes, so just express your own ideas.)
