Students will learn some useful words and sentence after this lesson, like dear, well, of, soon, and Ive got. 2. Students skills of reading, listening and communication will be improved after this lesson.3. Students will know how to write letter and how to describe something in past tense after this lesson. 教学重难点：1. “Ive got a new friend.” “Shes got short hair. Hes got”2. “dear”,“ well”, “of”, “soon”3. “was”,“were”,the past tense of the verb “be”4. The third person singular form of the present tense. 教学准备：Multimedia, cards, ppt, 教学过程：1. Warm-up 1) Sing a song: “Children from China are Chinese”2) Play the CD-ROM: find out the pigs new friend.T: Boys and girls, please look at the screen. The little pig has a new friend. Do you who is she/he? Ss: No, I dont.T: Well, thats ok. Lets look at the video and check it out. Play the CD-ROM.T: Now, who can tell the answer?Ss: Its the tiger.
