UNIT THREE I WAS BORN ON MAY 23RDLesson 9教学设计一、教学目标1能听懂、会说询问生日的功能句型“Whens your birthday?”,并能介绍自己的生日日期“My birthday is .”2能听、说、认读月份单词January、February、March、April、August,并能在语境中正确使用;了解on、in等在表示日期时的不同用法,on日期,in月份等。3能正确模仿录音朗读课文。二、教学重难点1教学重点:正确运用“When is your birthday?” “My birthday is .”等进行口语交际。2教学难点:基数词和序数词的进一步运用。日期表达中的序数词和年龄中的基数词,从句意上帮助学生进一步理解。三、教具准备教学挂图、配套光盘、单词图片、单词卡、生日歌、生日礼物、日历等。四、教学步骤(一) Listen and say1导入(1) 师生互致问候。(2) 教师板书months,引导学生进行Brainstorming,复习学过的月份词汇September、October、November、December等。(3) 教师介绍:“My birthday is in . Its on .” “Whens your birthday?”导入新课学习。2学习对话1(1) 观察主题图,预测对话内容。教师出示课文主题图图一,引导学生观察、预测对话内容。教师提问:“What can you see in the picture? Who are they? What are they talking about?”引导学生观察后回答问题。学生借助图片,能够看出图上的小朋友在讨论生日,因为前面单元的练习中出现过询问birthday的话题,教师可以引导部分学生借助图片大胆表达,“Linglings birthday is on January 21s. Saras birthday is on March 12th. ”(2)初听,理解对话,验证预测。教师播放对话录音,学生静听,验证刚才的预测内容,尝试回答。教师出示单词卡片,学习January、March。带读后教师讲解:“January is the first month of a year. It comes before _.”引导学生回答。“March is the _ month of a year. It comes after February but before April.”教师示意学生补充,理解词汇,了解月份的前后顺序。然后练习读单词:January、February、March。指导学生朗读January 21st、March 12th。教师指着日历说:“January 21st: Its the twenty first day of January.”教师提问:“Whats the date before / after January 21st?”引导学生说一说前面和后面的日期,了解序数词的意思,练习序数词表达。March 12th 方法相同。教师出示若干日期,学生练习教师出示句型板书,引导学生进一步了解对话。“Whens Linglings birthday? Whens Saras birthday?”“Linglings birthday is in January. Its on January 21st. Saras birthday is in March. Its on March 12th.”教师板书功能句型答语,突出强调in和on并适当讲解。引导学生跟读课文:“January 21st is my birthday. Whens your birthday?” “Its in March. Its on March 12th.”教师布置pair work活动,学生分别扮演Lingling和Sara朗读对话。(3) 对话操练。跟读、模仿课文,加深理解。师生分成不同的角色,示范朗读故事。小组合作,朗读和表演课文。(4) 运用和交流。教师出示1月份日历,询问“Whose birthday is in January / March / September / / February?”学习February。教师追问,与学生交流个人信息“When is your birthday?”,引导学生表达:“Its on .”,教师在日历上写下姓名。3学习对话2(1) 教师出示课文主题图图二,引导学生观察、预测。教师提问:“Whens Yangyangs birthday?”教师追问:“Why cant Yangyang have a birthday every year?”引导学生讨论,扩充知识:“How many days are there in February / January ?”引导学生总结出“There are thirty one days in January, March, May, July, August, October and December.”等知识。这里教师可以引导学生自主学习或调动学生的已有经验,交流自己了解的相关知识。引导学生跟读课文。(2) 对话操练。跟读、模仿课文,加深理解。师生分成不同的角色,示范朗读故事。小组合作,朗读和表演课文。(二) Listen, look, and learn(1) 导入。教师呈现2月的日历,说:“Yangyangs birthday is in February. Whose birthday is in February, too?”引导生日在2月的学生回答,然后教师追问:“Whens your birthday?”引导学生表达。教师让学生在日历上圈出,并写下自己的名字。教师和学生一起汇总信息:“Yangyangs birthday is in February. s birthday is in February.”引导学生关注名词所有格s的运用。(2) 呈现新词。教师呈现4月份的日历,提问:“Whose birthday is in April?”生日在4月的学生回答:“My birthday is in April.”教师追问:“When is your birthday?”引导学生回答:“My birthday is on .”在日历上写下姓名。教师引导学生汇总信息:“s birthday is in .”学习May、June、July、August方法相同。(三) Ask and count通过前面的活动,学生已经了解了一些同学的生日。教师可以呈现汇总的信息,再让同学选择自己的好朋友说一说,进行巩
