Warming upFree talk. T:Today I bring a present for you, (CAI shows a basket, read more.) Guess! Whats in the basket?(Teacher shows some animal cards) Herere many animal cards for your prizes. Listen carefully and finish your tasks actively, you will get more animal cards.Step2. Presentation and practice1) Watch cartoon of pig and wolf with the pupils. Ask, “What animals can you see in the cartoon? (pig and wolf) What can the pig do? (play the piano) How is the wolf at last? (run away)”2) Show and learn the new sentences: “One more ” Tell the pupils: Lets listen and read one more animal story. Write “One more ” on the Bb. Say, “In the story there is a pig and a wolf, too.” Write “pig” and “wolf” on the Bb. Ask the pupils to listen and read the story. (Draw a pig and a wolf on the Bb.)Ask, “What other animals can you see in the story?” 3) Sum-up: So there are 5 animals in the story. Are they good friends? Pig, sheep, duck and rabbit are little animals. They are friends. Wolf eats them. Wolf isnt their friend. In the story what can the pig do? At last where is the wolf? Why? The pig is clever. Then write the topic “The clever pig” on the Bb. The pig is fat but lovely, too. Its a lovely fat pig. Write “What a lovely fat pig.” on the Bb. Ask the pupils to say a chant about the pig. Show “Are you ready? Here we go!”4) Give an assessment about the chant: Your chant is not good. Ill teach you. (Write “teach” on the Bb. Say the chant with the pupils.) Say the chant again. Thats much better. (Write the sentence on the Bb. Read more.)5) Go on to show the new sentences and drill: In the story the wolf says about the pig like this: What a lovely fat pig. Give you a chance to (Write on the Bb) act like the wolf. (One pupil act like the wolf.) How wonderful! Can you teach me? (write on the Bb and say twice) Thats much better. Then drill.6) Go on to listen and read the story, ask the pupils to complete the sentence: The wolf learns(学习) to _. (CAI shows a guitar and read more.) Ask, “How do the little animals answer?” Write “Lets give the wolf a chance.” on the Bb. Ask, “Wheres the rabbit?”7) Ask the pupils to listen and read Picture 6-7 again, fill the days in the blanks: The wolf learns (学习) to play the guitar from _to _. Ask, “Can the wolf play the guitar well?”6)Ask to listen and read Picture 8-18 again, say YES or NO:The wolf brings(带来) a good present for little animals on Sunday. All the little animals are scared when the wolf takes out the present(狼拿出礼物时,所有的小动物都害怕). Check the answer and tell the pupils how to use knife and folk. Also tell not to go near the high voltage.7) Sum-up: What do you think of the pig?Tell: When youre in danger, dont be scared! You should use your brain to think out an idea.Step3 Consolidation1) Ask the pupils to choose their favourite animals to act out the voices. The actively can get their prizes.2) Retell the story with the pupils.On Sunday, a wolf sees(看见) a _ _ pig. The pig can _ _ _. The wolf wants(想要) to _ the pig and his friends.
