Overall layout1.1 Build line adopts double-decked differential chain flexible conveyor, the upper deck is used for workstation operation while the lower deck is used for pallet return. Traveling speed for trays at the upper and lower decks is 18 M/min, which is governed via frequency conversion. Total length of lines is 30335 mm.1.2 Build line holds 15 operating workstations, 15 storing workstations, the interval between workstations is 915 mm; At two ends of build line are the workstations for hoist to access into other deck. Build line is equipped with 36 trays with outside dimension of W620L620H270 each, the plant height is 800mm (from line bottom to tray bottom). Inner space of the plant for tray operation is 290mm maximum, external width is 820mm. 1.3 Every operating workstation is provided with tray releasing button, manual and auto knobs and tray locker. Set the button in Manual Mode for manual operation or in Auto Mode for unattended operation. The tray shall stop and be locked automatically when in place, which shall be released by simply pushing down the workstation releasing button after completed operation. Storing workstations are not installed with electric controller, the tray of storing workstation shall be released automatically into the operating workstation provided that the front operating workstation has idle space. Stopper and electric wrench for specific workstation allow for electric interlocking, only when electric wrench satisfies the specific moment value and output the qualified signal can it be unlocked, others are operated automatically.1.4 Workstation for trays to go up or down for access to other deck is installed with AUTO/MANUAL commutation switch and FAST STOP switch. Operation of tray elevation and access is controlled automatically by programme at Auto Mode while Manual Button is used to control tray elevation and hoist at Manual Mode. FAST STOP switch is used to handle the incidents during operation of conveyor. 1.5 Releasing button one workstation (next one) in front of the hoist at the end of build line and upper limit switch are provided with electric interlocking. Releasing button shall not work when tray hoist fails to be at upper limit. One pneumatic stopper shall be available in front of tray hoist at the end of tray return line of lower deck, lower limit switch for stopper and tray hoister allows for electric interlocking, the stopper is shut when tray hoist fails to be at lower limit. 1.6 Electric control of build line is also provided with the interface with Ethernet.1.7 Hoists at two ends adopt mechanical crank.1.8 Noise from the plant is required less than 70 decibels, and electrical design conforms to the national standard.1.9 Traveling trays adopt alloyed aluminum base plate, and are able to rotate around horizontally at 360 and overturn at 0902Plant configuration21 Bought-in parts Reducer or motor SUMITOMO, Japan Reducing motor for hoist SEW Pneumatic component1 SMC, Japan Electric control system SIMENS PLC AB, USA In-situ bus AB, USA Human-machine interface HM1 AB, USA Button Schneider or AB Others Domestic joint venture22 Safety guardrails are available for hoists at two ends.3OperationEvery operating workstation is provided with one button station except storing workstation. Set knot to Manual Mode when necessary to operate such workstation. Such workstation works as controlled by auto operating programme when unattended operating workstation is set to Auto Mode. After completed installation of operating workstation, the tray shall be released automatically to the next workstation by pressing down the releasing butt
