Who was it invented by?What was it used for?学生分析学生在学习第五单元时对被动语态已经有了初步的认识,并能运用该语态来表达一些简单的句子,为本单元的学习打下了一个较好的基础。教学目标知识与技能(1)知识目标:When was it invented? It was invented in. Who was it invented by? It is used for doing st(2)能力目标:发展学生的听及识记能力,培养学生综合语言运用能力。过程与方法learn and master key points through listening and speaking.情感态度与价值观让学生对身边所发明的事物有所认识和了解,激发学生对创造发明的兴趣。教学重点1.Master the following key words: invent, inventor, invention2.Master the key sentence patterns:When was it invented? Who invented the car/was the car invented by? I think the TV was invented before the car.教学难点1Master the active voice and passive voice in the past tense.2. Students are able to talk about evections with the past tense.教学方法本课采用任务型教学法,用When was it invented?这个问句,引出谈论有关发明情况的话题。采用提问、启发和归纳的教法,让学生易于接受教材内容,培养学生的语言运用能力。教学环境及资源准备多媒体资源,电子白板技术教学过程活动设计设计意图Step 1revision1.Show some exercises and have Ss to Change the Active Voice (主动句)into Passive Voice(被动句).She waters the flowers every day. He cleans the roomevery day. Mother cooks meals every day。 2. Ask some students to say answers and correct together.3. Summary how to Change the Active Voice into Passive Voice.一般现在时态主动语态变被动语态结构:主语 + + by +Review passive voce that students learned in unit 5. Prepare for and lead in the new lessonStep 2New words1. Ask students to try to read new words in groups of four.2. Ask students to speak out words they cant pronounce.3. Ask students to listen to the recording and pay attention to the words they cant pronounce.4. Repeat after the recording.5. Invite some students to read to check their pronunciation and correct errors.6. Give students 2 minutes to read and memorize the words. lead students to read and memorize new words.Step 3 Talking1. Present questions to students.What are the Four Great Inventions in ancient China?Who invented them?2. Ask students to look at the pictures and describe the pictures with passive voice.For example: Paper-making was invented by Cai Lun.3. Invite several students to say sentences and correct answers with the class.4. Present the right sentences and ask students to read them loudly.Lead students to use the passive voice in the past tense.Step 4Work on 1a1. Ask students to look at the pictures in 1a. Discuss with your group, in what order do you think they were invented? Try to number them 1-4.2. Ss discuss with their partners and number the pictures.3. Talk about the inventions : For example:A: I think the TV was invented before the car.B: Well, I think the TV was invented after the TV.Practice talking with target language and new words, prepare for the listening part.Step 5Listening-1b1. T: Tell Ss look at the pictures and years on the left.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen.3. Ss listen to the conversation and try to match the invention with the proper year.4. Play the recording again.5. Check the answers.6. Students read the reading material quickly and underline the sentences in passive voice.First: pay attention to how target language is used in real conversations through listening.Second, practice listening for key words.Step 6Pair work-1c.1. Ss try to remember the invention and the year.2. Student B covers the dates. Student A, ask Student B when the things in the picture in 1b were invented. Then change roles and practice again.3.
