Try to understand the use of pronouns and prepositions.1, Have students read the conversation , reading the words before and after the slash2, Check answers as a class .ox .2, Check answers as a class. 1, Tell students that this activ“I” as an example . In the singular , there is the subject form (I ) , the object form (me ) , the possessive ( my , mine ) and the reflexive pronoun ( myself ) . For the plural , these change to : we , us , our , ours , ourselves .2,Stress to students that some pronouns in English change according to gender ( for example : he , she , it , him , her , its , himself , herself , itself ).3,Explain to students that they should use the information in the sentences to help them decide which word to choose . Ask them to look at the first blank as an example . The sentence before the blank talks about John . John is male , so the pronoun is masculine . John is only one person , so the pronoun is singular . John is the subject of the sentence , so the pronoun must be the subject form . These all mean the pronoun must be “he “.4,Let students work through the exercise in pairs . Encourage them to discuss the sentences and analyse them to determine the correct pronoun to use .5,Check answers as a class .1,Tell students that this passage tests knowledge of prepositions . Remind students that prepositions can explain time , place or direction . There are also two-word verbs like “ look for “, “look after “ and “ look out “, which use prepositions . Tell them that in this activity one word is used more than once .3,Ask pairs to exchange books and check each others answers .4, Check answers as a class 1, Tell students to read and complete the sentences with their own ideas .3, Check answers as a class 1、Look at the grammer of this module.
