Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.Period 2 Section A 3a-3c本课分析本节课是该单元的第二个课时。让学生通过对文本的阅读了解一位性格腼腆的亚裔女孩转变为明星的故事,在拓展语言知识、发展技能及阅读策略的同时,向学生传递出关注自我发展和自我完善的重要性。21世纪教育网版权所有学情分析通过上节课的学习,学生已经学会了用目标语言used to描述自己和他人过去经常做的事情,也会对人物的外貌和性格的变化做出描述,基本达成语言目标,这是学习本课时的优势。但是学生对于情感目标“事物在不断变化,养成积极向上的心态” 可能理解的还不够透彻,本节课在进一步拓展语言知识,发展语言技能的同时,可以着重向学生进行情感目标的渗透。教学目标1、语言知识目标:1) 学习掌握下列词汇: background, interview, Asian, deal with, dare, private, guard, require,并复习巩固Section A 部分所学的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2) 阅读短文,能按要求获取相关的信息,并且通过阅读训练来提高学生们的阅读能力。3)总结 used to 的不同句型,学习运用used to来表达“过去常常”存在的状态或的发生的动作。2. 情感态度价值观目标:让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养学生积极向上的心态。教学重难点重点:1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习,来提高阅读能力。难点:1) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力。2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。3) 掌握used to的用法,学习表达过去常常做的事情或状态的句型课时安排1课时课前准备准备好录音机,制作多媒体课件和学案。教学方法任务型教学法、情景交际法、自主学习和合作学习相结合。教学过程新课导入:Step1 Warming upShow the picture of Candy Wang and ask the following questions for students to discuss:1. As I got better, I dared to sing in front of the class and then for the whole school. 3. Ss work in pairs. Try to ask and answers questions according to the passage. 4. Let some pairs ask and answer. (设计意图:进一步让学生理解文本内容,同时训练学生的语言输出能力。)教学反思:在对阅读部分处理时,采用任务型教学法,通过给学生设置问题,让他们通过阅读来解决,在学习巩固目标语言的同时完成对文章的理解。在阅读之后,引导学生理解任何人都会发展变化,如果你有梦想,那么就要坚持自己的梦想,努力调整和改变自己,让自己的梦想成真。课堂小结观察与思考一、 学生先自主学习,然后以四人一组的方式讨论:1、 本课学习了哪些内容?重要的单词、短语、句型是什么?2、 你能讲出Candy Wang 的故事吗?二、 老师总结本节课学习了关于Candy Wang的一篇文章,通过文章,我们进一步练习了用目标语言used to进行阅读,并且再次明确了事物都在发展变化的道理,我们要培养积极向上的心态。(设计意图:通过自主学习和合作学习的方法,总结本课重点句型,师生共同合作再现本课重点。) Homework 1.
