U4 Section A课题 Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark. Section A 1a-2d教学目标1.正确使用used to结构描述人物过去的外貌、性格和爱好.2.掌握used to do 句型的否定句结构以及一般疑问句结构。情感教育在描述的过程中感悟成长的变化,学会感恩、孝顺父母。教学重难点使用used to 结构谈论自己及他人在外貌、性格和爱好方面的变化。教法小组合作探究法任务型教学法教学过程及教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1: Lead-inActivity 1: Guess :Who is he?Show some pictures of Wang Junkai。The pictures are from three months old to 17 years old.Step 2 自主学习Ask the students to take out the Learning-case.Look at 1a “Fill in the chart with words to describe people” .Check the answers by asking different students to read their lists to the class. Make sure that all the students understand what each word means.Step 3 合作探究Activity 11. Show a short video to students.2. After watching the video ,ask students :How do you feel? Lead the students to show their love for their parents,and talk about what they will do for their parents.3.From the video ,we know that as time goes by,everybody has changed a lot .For example ,our father was young and strong in the past ,but now he is old and weak .And we can use another sentence pattern to say :Father used to be young and strong .4.Lead the students to make sentences like:I used to be .Activity 2 Listen to the tape and finish 1b.First lead the students to look at the picture in 1b carefully ,make sure they know what is happening .Then listen and check the answers .Activity 31. Look at the pictures and make conversations with the partner .Let the students talk about how the people look like now and how they used to look like.Here is the example :A: Did Mario use to be short?B: Yes, he did. He used to be really short.A: Whats he like now? What does he look like now ?B: Hes friendly . Hes tall now.2. After three minutes ,ask some pairs of students to show their work .3. Then sum up and write on the blackboard : didnt use to bedo ;Did sb. use to be do sth.?Activity 4Make a survey to find out who has changed a lot in your group .Fill in the chart,and then make a report .They can make the survey by asking :What did you use to look like?What did you use to be like?What did you use to like doing? Show their work.Make a survey in group .Fill in the chart and then give a report让学生感受人在成长过程中的变化,引出课题。自主学习人物外貌及性格的词汇,为听说做准备。这是一个名叫“Family”的公益广告。通过看视频,可以深刻的教育学生要学会感恩,孝顺父母。同时也可以让学生更好的理解used to do 这个句型是表示过去的动作或状态,现在已不再发生或存在。让学生经过探究后使用used to be 来表达过去的自己。让学生在听used to在对话中的使用,总结出used to be+adj.与Used to do sth.的用法让学生在对话操练中探究出used to do 的否定句、一般疑问句的结构和其肯定否定回答。让学生自己探究、使用再总结,有利于加深记忆。让学生使用used to句型互相询问过去的外貌、性格及爱好的变化以及回答。可以巩固和深化本节课所学的句式。让学生再一次归纳梳理所学的句式,加深记忆。作业布置
