Ask students to translate some key phrases into Chinese : translate .into. ;all of a sudden ;work on;similar to ;musicla notesStep 1 PresentationShow students some pictures about the delicious food and let students list some food with the same tasty:Crispy,salty , sour,customer,by mistakeStep 2 Free Talk. Ask students the questions: 1.Do you like eating potato chips?2.Which kind of taste do you like?3.Do you know how they were invented?Step 3Activity 1c.Listen and circle T or F.Step 4 Listen again and answer some questions.Step 5 Activity 1d.Listen again and then complete the sentences.Step 6 Pair works.Let students make conversations about the invention of potato chips.E.g.:A: Did you know potato chips were invented by mistake?B: Wow, I didnt know that.
