Teaching demands:1、Enable students to grasp and use the following words and expressions:overcome, make a mess, graduate, keep ones cool, caring。2、Enable students to talk about your school days or experiences, training the ability of using language. 3、Enable students to use the reading strategies, such as Scanning(寻读) and Skimming(跳读), to enjoy the beauty of rhyme of the poem. 4、Enable students to think about the style, topic, theme and writer of a passage in English.Teaching aims:知识技能:1. Target language: Looking back at these past three years, I remember many things.They were excited about training and proud when they overcame their fears.What are your plans for next year?2. Grammar: the past tense3. Words and expressions:A. Curriculum words: overcome, graduate, caring, ours, senior, level B. Useful expressions: look back at, make a mess, keep ones cool, senior high (school), go by过程与方法:To know how to talk about the past by practicing and role-play.情感、态度、价值观:After learning this part, every student may have a sweet memory of his/her own past three years and will remember these unforgettable memories. Greetings Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls. II. Warming up1. Which teachers or classmates will you miss the most after junior high school?(Show some pictures of teachers and classmates. Get students to talk about who they will miss the most after junior high school.) 2. Do you have any special memories of junior high school?(Show some pictures of students. Get students to talk about their past experiences. )III. WritingWrite something about your happy and sweet memories. Share your memories with us. (Get some students to share their memories with the class.) IV. Listening Listen to the tape to be familiar with the passage. V. Enjoying and Reading 1. Read the passage, and find out what the writer remembers morning reading; sports day; overcoming fear; starting day one; help each other; preparing for art festival;New Years parties; learning a language; school trees and flowers; kind and caring teachers. 2. Read the passage again, and ask:What is the poem talking about ?3. Read the poem carefully and analysis it.VI.
