PEP Book 2 Unit 3 At the zoo第四课时 贵定二小 罗海霞教学目标:知识目标:1、 能够听、说、认读short, long, small, big等单词。注意告知学生它们是两对反义词,引导学生发现short的两重意义:“短”和“矮”。2、能够在语境中运用这些单词描述动物外形特点。3、 能够在图片的帮助下听懂指令并做出相应的动作。能力目标:能在图片、实物或情景的帮助下运用句型:It has.描述动物并听懂别人的描述。情感目标:具有热爱动物、保护动物的意识;不乱逗玩动物或乱投喂动物等。教学重点对short, long, small, big四个单词的学习和掌握教学难点1、small 中l的发音2、运用句型:It has 教学准备:老师:长、短尺子各一把;大小气球各两个;电子笔;教案;课件;教科书。学生:大书、小书、绘画用纸一张。教学过程:Step1 热身复习(Warm-up/Revision)1. Do the things follow me : One , two, clap your hands. Three, four, be fat, fat, fat. One, two, clap your hands. Three, four, be thin, thin, thin. One, two, clap your hands. Three, four, be tall ,tall ,tall. One, two, clap your hands. Three, four, be short, short, short. Lets do together: Be fat, be fat, be fat, fat, fat!.2.Greeting3.Guess : what animal it is.1、Revision for the animals. Look at the animals . What are they ?Ss: tiger, bear, elephant, panda, giraffe, ostrich.(PPT3)2、Look at the pictures,fill in the blanks with: tall, short, fat, thin. (PPT4,5)Step2呈现新课 (Presentation) Learn the new words.1. T: Look, whats in my hand ? Ss: Its a ruler. T: Whats this ?Ss: Its a ruler, too.T: Yes, two rulers. But ,this is a short ruler, and this is a long ruler. Now chant after mi, short, short, short, a short ruler. Long, long, long, a long ruler.2. Look at the ostrich, it has a short tail. Oh, Look! The elephant is very big . But the gorilla is very small .
