We must obey the school rules and cherish our lives.(法制教育) 教学重点Learn to use subjunctive mood to talk about imagined life. 教学难点Learn to use subjunctive mood. 教 学 方 法1.Improve students listening skill according to fishing some listening tasks.2.According to using subjunctive mood to talk about imagined life, improve the students speaking skill.3.Have the students discuss the questions that the teacher write down on the blackboard with their partners. 4.According to some pair work and group work,the students cooperate with their partners. 教学用具A tape recorder,a CD of Jay Chou教 学 过 程教学步骤学生活动设计意图Step 1. Greetings (1)Greet the whole class.Greet the teacher.师生相互问候,开始上课.Step 2. Lead-in (5)1. Review the new words.2. Use a CD of Jay Chou to lead in new lesson.导入语:T: Yesterday, I bought a CD on my way home. Do you know him? S: Yes. Its Jay Chou.T: He is a superstar, right?S: Yes.T: Do you want to be a superstar?S: Yes.T: What would you do if you were a superstar? S: I would/could3. Invite some students to show their ideas and write down the sentences they say.Read the new words.Answer the questions.Show their ideas.复习提前预习的生词,为导入话题做准备。用学生感兴趣的明星CD来带出话题,引起学生兴趣,学生容易参与。Step 3. Practice (12)1. Have the students image,“What would you do if you had a lot of money/a million dollars?”Write their ideas in activity 1a. As they work, walk around the room checking progress and offering any help they may need.2. Invite some students to answer the question and check. Write down the sentences on the blackboard.3. Have the students sum up the structure of subjunctive mood with their partners. 4. Show if-subjunctive mood on the blackboard.5. Have the students translate the following sentences into English. And then check their answers.如果我是你,我下个月就能去夏威夷了。如果我是成龙,我会捐500万给养老院。如果我是一只小鸟,我就能在天空中自由的飞翔了。Finish activity 1a.Discuss how to use if-subjunctive mood.Translate the sentences.让学生继续熟悉目标语,学会使用。让学生自己总结if引导的虚拟语气的用法,印象会更深刻。训练学生合作探究的能力通过翻译小练习巩固虚拟语气的用法。Step 4. Pair work (5)1. Have the students image,“What subject would you teach if you were a teacher?”Make conversations with their partners.2. Invite some Ss to show their ideas and check.Make conversations.趁热打铁,巩固目标语。Step 5. Listening (5)1. Have the students listen to the tape and number the pictures in the order.2. Check the answers.3. Let the students listen and repeat the listening material.Listen and number the pictures in the order.Listen and repeat.从说到听,逐步递进, 训练听力。听读结合,综合训练。Step 6. Group work (13)1. Have the students work in groups(4 students in a group)2. Have the students discuss the following questions in groups. What would you do if someone ask you to smoke?3.Invite some groups to show their conversations and check.Discuss and make conversations in groups.Show and check their conversations.利用话题训练目标语的同时,渗透法制教育。训练学生合作学习的能力。Step 7. If I were a bird, Id fly freely in the sky. 教 学 反 思本课重点学习用虚拟语气来谈论假象的生活:一、亮点:1、利用明星CD来导入新课,让学生想象如果自己是明星会做的事,许多平日学习积极性不高的学生也兴趣盎然加入讨论。2、继续利用找关键词的技巧进行听力训练,训练质量明显有提高。3、活动按个人-结对-小组展开,层层深入,难度递增。Group work谈论的话题不仅训练了本课目标语和目标知识,还渗透了法制教育,让学生懂得应当遵守校纪校规,明白生命的宝贵,不做违反法律规定的未成年人不良行为。二、不足之处:1、在pair work中没有注意程度较差的同学的需要,部分同学没有参与到活动中。2、教授虚拟语气时,结合if引导的条件状语从
