Secondly, their living conditions are better than others, the only child often feels loved and welcomed in their family. They have a strong sense of belonging and security, the environment is good for the childrens mental health, so most of them are lively and positive. Finally, the only child can own a priority and reliable guarantee in economic; they have abundant nutrition, clothing, and toys and so on. The only childs parents often spend more time and energy on their childrens intellectual development. They cultivate childrens all kinds of artistic interest and travel everywhere with their children, so most have broad knowledge and active thinking. On the contrary，in these families with many children, it is easy for the parents to overlook the contracts with each child; for example, talking about their study or friends with each child may not be often. This may induce the improper preference and who have no enough time to care about childrens mental health. However, being an only child also has many disadvantages. On the one hand, as individuals, they may have some bad character and habits. Excessive spoil may contribute to childrens selfishness and capriciousness. Excessive care makes them fail to afford defeat. At the same time, they lack experience of living with siblings or others, so they have bad habits with weak compassion and responsibility and sociability, they also have inconsistent family education. When they make mistakes, their parents and grandparents attitude is different, these are not good for their growth. On the other hand, our countrys population is not beneficial to harmonies development of society, for example, the number of students will be cut down; the highlights of the pension problem; the gradual imbalance of gender, and so on.
