(情态动词can的特殊疑问句)1.1.2 Ability goals 能力目标1.1.2.1 学会用can的相关句式谈论能力、特长。 1.1.2.2 能够在具体语境下猜测生词词义。1.1.3 Emotional goals 情感目标帮助学生认识自我,鼓励学生自信,有勇于挑战自我,超越自我的信念,唤醒“I believe I can fly. If I can see it, then I can do it”的自我激励精神。1.2 Important and difficult teaching points教学重难点 教会学生应用“can”的不同句式“谈论个人能力”。2.0 Student analysis学情分析2.1 Fundamental State基本情况本单元的教学为七年级下期内容,学生已通过半年的初中英语学习,理应对初中英语学习的要求基本明白,并已基本适应初中英语学习,具备一定英语学习的基本技能,初步掌握一些英语基础知识,同时,由于中小学得跨度,有少部分学生在学习英语学科上开始显得吃力,甚至有部分学生有放弃的意识萌芽,经过两个月的暑假,在开学第一课除了要完成本单元课时的基本知识上的教学任务以外,教师更需要对学生的思想状态,情感态度进行正面引导。因此,本课时首先谈论学生本身已有的能力,然后对个人能力进行肯定,进而谈论加入俱乐部的话题.本节课有设置情景引导学生猜测词义,利用图片建立信息差,引导学生思考辩论,培养学生审辨式思维能力,从而最终实现本课时的教学目标。2.2 Knowledge Reserve知识储备 通过半年的学习和积累,学生积累了250左右的词汇量,接触到了基本的话题和功能项目。特别是Book 7A Starter Unit 2Whats this in English?与Unit 7 How much are these socks?中出现了Can you spell it? Can I help you?的功能句子的学习,学生基本知道can在句子中的意思和基本用法,为本节课谈论加入俱乐部,以及从听力中捕捉有关能力表达的信息奠定了知识基础。2.3 Class data本班实际(建议从中等水平的班级特点出发,分析哪些内容会引起学生的兴趣和思维,教师在课堂上要如何点拨和引导才能达到较好的效果,根据班级情况如何确定每一节课的重点和难点,以及课堂学习状态和课后预期达到的学习结果)本班学生有比较明确的学习目的,能够在小组活动中互相帮助,积极与他人合作,敢于用英语进行表达。本课时谈论What can you do ? Can you .?,话题内容贴近学生、贴近生活,学生熟悉,有话可说,教师应该尽量创设情景,拓展思路,必要时帮助学生用英语进行准确表达。3.0 Teaching methods教法建议3.1 situational teaching approach情景教学法3.2 question and answer method问答法3.3 discussion method 讨论法3.4 task-based teaching method任务型教学法4.0 教学辅助 whiteboard , computer, ppt5.0 Teaching procedures 教学进程5.1 Leading-in and warming-up 引入与激趣活动 Greet with Ss and show a guitar ,then ask “what is this in English?”, students will answer“It is a guitar.?” OK,then ask,“can you play the guaitar?”5.2 New points input 新知输入5.2.1 Language presentationAfter looking at the picture of a guitar, ask the Ss, “Can you play? ”The Ss must answer “No, I cant. / No.” Then lead the topic to talk about personal abilities.Show pictures, ask “Can you sing / dance / play the guitar / play chess / play basketball?( Make sure all the students notice the word “the”.) 5.2.2 Activity 1a5.2.2.1 Students finish the word match in 1a, then read the words together and memorise these words5.2.2.2 Present the new sentences:What can you do ?Can you .?Yes,I can /No,I cant.Use some pictures to present.(dance,sing,swim, play chess,play the guitar.)5.2.2.3Guessing game: Show pictures by covering most parts of them , get the students to guess “What can you do?” The answers are: I can dance. I can swim. I can play the guitar.Pair work: What can you do ? Can you?5.2.2.4 Chant: I can swim, I can sing. I can dance, I can paint.Can you swim? Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you paint?Yes, I can. Yes,I can. I can -do my best! 5.2.2.5 Show some pictures. Talk about “Can he / they fly? What can he / they do?”. Show pictures, get the Ss to practice “What can he /she / they do?”. 5.2.2.6 Guessing game: Show pictures by covering most parts of them , and get the students to guess “What can he/ she do?”. The answers are: She can sing. He can draw. He can play chess.5.3 Listening practice 听力训练 5.3.1 Activity 1b5.3.1.1 Pre-listening. Show pictures, elicit the Ss to talk about different clubs, pay attention to “swimming club”,“sports club”. T plays the recording for the first time.5.3.1.2 While-listening. Check the answers: 2 3 15.3.1.3 Post-listening .Show key chunks and topic sentences , get the Ss to practice in pairs.5.4 Oral Output 口语输出 Activity 1c5.4.1 show some pictures about someone can do something,then ask students use “Can you .? Yes,I can ./No,I Cant.” to practice with his/her deskmate.5.4.2 Ask Ss to share their conversations in front of the class.5.5 Summary5.5.1 From two Lets chant,总结本节课的语法知识点LetsChant: Dance, dance, I can dance very well. Chess, chess, we can play chess very well.Soccer, soccer, can you play soccer?聪明的你能发现can的运用规律吗5.5.2 Language points(1)can can是情态动词,意为“能;会”,表示一个人具备的能力。它不可以单独作谓语,要与其他动词一起构成谓语,后面的动词要用原形,同时它没有人称与数的变化,变否定句在can后加not,即can not=cant,一般疑问句把can往提前。例如:I can speak English well. 我能讲英语很好。Jack can swim, but I cant. 杰克会游泳但我不会。She cant play chess. 她不会下棋。Can you swim? Yes, I can. /No, I cant.你会游泳吗?是的,我会。/不,我不会2) playPlay 是动词时,意为“玩耍;游戏”。后面直接加球类,但加乐器时需用the乐器。例如:He is playing football. 他正在踢足球。Can you play the violin? 你会拉小提琴吗?5.5.3 Exercises一单项选择题( )1.Bob can play _tennis ,but cant play _ violin.
