八下Unit 5 Section B 2a2e教学设计 课题:Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?(Section B Reading) 设计教师:彭晓英 工作单位:慈利二坊坪九年制学校.教学内容:人教版八下Unit5 SectionB 2b (Reading:Do you Remember What You Were Doing? ).教学目标设计(三纬目标) 1.知识目标:让学生掌握下列单词,短语和句型。 重点单词:passage, pupil, completely, shocked ,recently,terrorist,date,tower,truth 重点词组:in history, in silence,at first,be shocked to do,tell the truth,have trouble doing 重点句型:I was so scared that I could hardly think clearly after that. 2.能力目标:通过系列阅读活动,学会跳读的技巧,提高学生的阅读能力,培养学生 的语感。 3.情感价值目标:通过本节课的学习,让学生在重大事件中受到教育。.教学重点: 1.掌握上列新单词和短语; 2.提高学生的阅读理解能力。.教学难点: 1.正确理解下面句子:I was so scared that I could hardly think clearly after that. 2.怎样帮助学生更好地理解这篇课文?.教学策略:任务型教学,跳读法和合作学习相结合。.教学手段:黑板,课本、多媒体.教学过程:Step 1:导入1. 问候并复习过去进行时:(教师问学生回答) T:Good morning,class. S:Good morning,Ms Peng. T:What were you doing when I came in? S:I was. 设计目的:激发学生的学习兴趣,及时复习。 2. 呈现新单词和短语并教学这些新单词和短语:passage, pupil,completely,shocked,in silence,recently,take down,terrorist,date,tower,truth,at first. 教师活动:教师教学这些单词和短语,学生跟读。 学生活动:学生认读并记忆这些单词和短语。 教师活动:教师讲解passage,completely,shocked,in silence和at first的用法。 设计意图:疏通生词,以提高阅读速度。Step 2:呈现 教师问学生回答:看图,介绍38页两图中人物情况: T:Who is he? Ss:He is Martin Luther King. T:What was he? Ss:He was a Negroid leader. T:What happened? Ss:A plane hit the building and the building was taking down. 教师活动:教师讲解阅读指导: Read the Title and First Sentences.The title can be helpful for you to understand a text. It is also a good idea to read the first sentence of each paragraph before you read the whole text.学生活动:要求学生读标题和每段的第一句并回答下面两个问题: What was Robert Allan when Dr.King was killed? Which day will Kate Smith never forget?设计意图:1.激活学生已有的信息,使学生具备摄入新知识的心理定势。 2.激活学生的学习兴趣。 3.帮助老师引入课文的主题。Step 3:快速阅读 教师活动:播放录音 学生活动:快读课文,了解课文大意,回答书上的两个问题。 设计意图:训练学生快速阅读,把握关键词的能力。 参考答案:1.D r.Martin Luther King was killed and the World Trade Center was taken down by terrorists. 2.On April 4 1968 and on September 11 2001.Step 4.细读课文 教师活动:要求学生细读课文,总结课文,做好笔记: What was Robert Allen doing when Dr. Martin Luther King was killed? What was Kate Smith doing when the World Trade Center was taken down ? 学生活动:1.认真阅读课文,先回答以上两个问题。 参考答案:1.Robert Allan:When Dr. Martin Luther King was killed on April 4,1968, he was a pupil.he was eating dinner with his family in the kitchen. He was completely shocked. 2.Kate Smith:When the World Trade Center in New York was taking down by terrorists on September 11,2001,she wasworking in her office near the two towers.A plane hit it.she was so scared that she could hardly think clearly after that. 2.认真阅读课文,完成课本上的2c,2d。 设计意图:训练学生快速查读细节、捕捉信息的能力Step5.读后 学生活动:要求学生讨论:你记住了文中多少内容? A:When did Dr. Martin Luther King die? B:He died on. 要求学生对文章进行复述。Step 6.语言学习 教师活动:讲解短语用法:be shocked to do sth,tell the truth,have trouble doing sth. 学生活动:要求学生适当做一下笔记。 设计意图:训练学生对英语惯用法的运用Step 7.听课文教师活动:教师再次播放录音。学生活动:学生小声跟读课文,并注意语音语调。设计意图:让学生进一步巩固课文内容,并训练其语音语调。Step 8.拓展 What other important events do you know?Tell one to your partner.Step 8.作业:用英语讲述一个重要事件。板书设计 Unit5 Section B 2a2e 单词: Passage, pupil 短语:take down, In history Completely ,shocked in silence, at first recently,terrorist,date so.that, be shocked to do Tower truth tell the truth, have trouble doing教后反思:本节课以美国历史上的两个重大事件图
