Unit7 Its raining. Section B (1a-1e)教学设计岐亭中心学校七年级英语备课组:张银洲一、教学目标 1、掌握与天气状况相关的新单词:dry, cold, hot, warm。2、 掌握以下句型: Hows the weather ? /Whats the weather like?Its cold/ hot/warm/cool/dry Hows it going? Not bad. /Great./Terrible./3、能在教师指导下通过抓关键词和关键句,完成有关谈论天气、人们正在做的事情和询问对方状况的听力材料。4、能模仿录音正确朗读和表演教材上的对话并能运用目标语言谈论对话内容,如:Hi, hows it going? Hello . Oh, not too bad! What are you doing?二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点: a.继续学习有关天气的词汇,运用所学的词汇来描述天气。 b.进一步学习现在进行时,学会询问他人的现状及在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。 2. 教学难点: a.熟练地运用目标中的重点词汇和句型。b.进行听力训练和小组内对话交流,培养学生们的听说能力。 三、学生分析 本班学生在第六单元已经学习过现在进行时,会简单描述人们正在做的事。本单元谈论正在发生的事是对上单元内容的巩固及提高,且本单课的天气这一话题与我们生活息息相关,本节课的知识大多数同学都比较感兴趣,相信同学们在学习本课时,一定会有热情的。四、教学内容分析本节课我们主要学习如何描述天气和谈论正在发生的事,围绕课文中的话题,学生将在教师的指导下,结合生活实际,用已有的信息来完成本课时的学习。本节课内容为Section B (1a-1e),要求同学们能够掌握与天气状况有关的其他词汇( hot, cold, cool, warm, dry,wet)及相关句型(Hows the weather ?/ Whats the weather like? Its . Hows it going),并围绕天气这一话题对人们正在进行的活动对话交流,学会询问他人的现状。五、教学媒体与资源的选择与应用:本节课的教学资源主要来自网络,同时根据本课的实际情况进行了修改,让课件更适合乡村学生,有利于他们对本课的学习。1、 通过媒体呈现几张天气的图片来谈论天气和人们正在进行的活动,形象直观,便于学生进行对话练习。2、 通过媒体展示几个游戏,猜测天气,培养学生的学习兴趣,使学生积极主动地参与到英语课堂中来。3、 通过媒体播放课文听力,为乡村学生提供标准的语言示范,为学生学英语提供良好的语言环境。4、 通过媒体播放2017.4.7的英语天气预报视频,让学生感受真实的英语天气预报,从而激发学生学好英语的热情。六、教学过程Step 1 Warming- up and revision1. Review (Key words and phrases) a. Lets have a dictation! b. Make sentences with these words.2. Ask and answer about the weather. Hows the weather ? /Whats the weather like?Its sunny/ cloudy/windy/rainy/snowy 复习已学单词,短语和句型和导入表示天气的话题Step 2 Presentation1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words: dry, cold, hot, warm 2. Students learn the new words and expressions and try to understand the expressions. 3. Give Students some time and try to remember the new words and expressions. 导入新课话题,教授新单词Step 3 Matching 1. Read the words in the box in 1a. Then look at the pictures. Match the words with the pictures. Students match the words with the picture.2. Check the answers. 学以致用,根据所学单词完成1a. Step 4 Pair work 1. Look at the pictures in 1a. Ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a. Give an example to the Students.T: Hows the weather in the picture d?S1: Its dry. 2. Now work in pairs. Ask and answer about questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a. 3. Ask some pairs to ask and answer about the questions. 4. Play games and guess how the weather is.利用图片,操练问答天气的句型,培养学生仔细观察图片的习惯.Step 5 Listening Work on 1c: 1. Read the chart in 1c. 2. Play the tape for the Students to listen and write what Marys and Erics answers to Hows it going? are. 3. Play the recording twice. The first time Students only listen. For the second Students listen and write down the answers in the blanks.通过听力引入Mary和Eric电话会话的话题,帮助学生明确对话所发生的背景,为在真实语境中的运用做好铺垫Step 6 Listening Work on 1d: 1. Listen again. What are Erics answers to What are you doing? & Hows the weather? 2. Play the recording twice. The first time Students only listen. For the second Students listen and write down the answers in the blanks. 3. Check the answers. 听力实践,从对话中获取信息.Step 7 1e Role-play a conversation between Mary and Eric. Eric: Hi! Hows it going with you?Mary: Hello! Oh, not too bad! Eric: What are you doing there?Mary: Im visiting my grandmother. Eric: Hows the weather in Mexico? S2: Im watching our school basketball game. What are Dad and Mum doing?
