Warming-up and revision Show a picture of the teachers friend. Introduce the friend .T:I have a good friend , she is tall,she is thin , she has long straight hair . I like her very much . This is my best friend ,do you want to know how to describe your best friend?. Presentation (Section A 1a)1. Learn about the main words. Present the new words with pictures, read and remember . 2. Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)Now please look at P49, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. You can use some letters more than once. Point out the sample answer. (Keys: c, f, a, a, d, h, e, b, g, e) 3. Learn how to use sentences to describe a person.(1) . Learn to describe hair.Use the sentences“What does he look like? He has long hair .” to describe about hair. Pay attention to the use of “have”.(2) . Height.Use the sentences“What does he look like? He is tall/short .” to describe about height. Pay attention to the use of “is”.(3) . Build. Use the sentences“What does he look like? He is thin/fat .” to describe about build. Pay attention to the use of “is”. Practice (Section A 1c) 1. Ask and answer about the person in the picture , use the sentences they have just learned. 2. Practice like the conversation according to some pictures. Listening (1b)1. Look at the picture of 1a, listen and fill the blanks in the picture. (1b)Listen carefully and fill in the blanks and find Amys friend?
