Ask students to practice the modal verb “can”. “Can we.?” “No, we cant.” We can also use “Dont.” (write sentences on the blackboard) “Dont eat in class.” “Dont listen to music in class.” “Dont run in the hallways.” “Dont fight.” Step2: Presentation1. Activity 1a. Review the phrases that learned above. “Look at the picture in 1a, here are some students are breaking the rules, find them out and write the number of the rule next to him or her.”2.
