Unit 4 Dont eat in class.Section B教学目标: 1、能掌握以下单词: rules, arrive, late, hall, dinning hall, listen, listen to, fight, sorry 2、 能掌握以下句型: Dont eat in class. You must be on time. Eat in the dining hall. 3、学会用英语表达一些标志的含义。 4、熟练使用目标语言谈论对某些规章制度(校规、家规等)的看法。 教学重点: 1、肯定祈使句是省略掉主语的原形动词开头; 2、否定祈使句则是在肯定祈使句前加上dont3、情态动词must及have to在用法上的区别。 教学难点: 掌握祈使句的用法,并能听懂、会说一些简单的祈使句。教学用具: 课件、录音机和单词图片教学过程: Step 1 Warming-up and revision1. Review the words and key sentences weve learned in Section A.2. Talk with students about house rules on weekdays and weekends.T: Can we watch TV on school nights?S1: No, we cantT: Do you have to clean your own clothes?S1: Yes, I doS2: Step 2 Presentation 教师出示书上1a 的图片,向学生提问。指着图上奔跑的男孩提问 T: Whats the boy doing? S: Hes running. T: Where is he running? S: Hes running in the hallways.T: Can you run in the hallways? S: No, I cant. T: So please dont run in the hallways. (= You cant run in the hallways.) 学生跟读数遍,明白祈使句和can的表达含意。 T: Why is he running in the hallways? S: Hes late. T: Oh, hes late for class. You cant arrive late for class. = Dont arrive late for class. Step 3 ReadingRevise Part 1 in Section B. Then show the photo of Zhao Pei in3a. Ask: Is she happy? Let Ss read the letter and find out the answers. After that, ask Ss make a list about her rules.T: What can you do at your house and what cant you do in your house? (Get different answers from Ss.)Step 4 Class Survey1. Make a list of the rules at your houses.T: OK! There are so many rules in your houses! Now make a list of the rules at your houses. You can use Zhao Peis list of rules as a model. Give the Ss some minutes to write. And then have some students read their lists to the class. Make language corrections as needed.2. Make a surveyFirst, point out the sample question and answer in the picture in the book. Ask two students to read it to the class. Step 5 Make the rules for school libraryT: As you are Ss, you have to obey many rules. Now if your headmaster asks you to help him make a rule for your school library, can you help him? What kind of rules do you want to make? Please tell us the rules. Work in groups. Then make a report.T: You are all good Ss. I hope you can be Ss both at home and at school. Be a good student.Step 6 Lets play1. Group work: 收集不同的家规并写下来。 2. Pair work: 1) 请两位学生朗读1c部分的句型;2) 要求学生两人一组对话表演,SA扮演外校转来新生,SB告知本校校规。(学生可经过讨论,多说出他们想到的校规,不必只限于书上;教师应给予帮助) 3. Role-play 1) Read the conversation and find some rules in this school? 2) Ss read the conversations and find the answers to this question. 3) Check the answers: (Dont be late for school.
