Emotion Object:Let Ss know keeping healthy is important and learn to care about others.Teaching Key Points:Learn how to talk about health, use have /has to talk about health problemsTeaching Difficult Points: Learn the English names of different parts of human body and talk about various health problems. Teaching Methods: 1. Listening and speaking practice. 2 .Autonomous and cooperative approach. Teaching Aids:CAI, A tape recorder. Teaching Procedure:Before class: Listen to a song.Step 1 Preparation.1. Greet.T:Hi, class. How are you today?S:Fine. And you?T:i dont feel well. I have a stomachache.Tead students to lerrn new words “stomach, stomachache” and the phrase“have a stomachache”. 2. Check what students have learnt before class.We have learned the words before class. Now I want to check you .Present a picture of a girl . First, I want someone to say them one by one ; then all the students say them one by one .If you say it correctly, you can get a flag. Class, are you ready? Lets go.4. Work on Section A 1a students say one by one. Look at 1a, these letters point to the parts of the bodies, please write the correct letter for each part. I asked you to finish 1a before class, have you finished?T:You are very careful, you did a good job.Step 2 Presentation . 1. But sometimes our body may get ill. When we talk about illness, how do we ask and answer? Lets chant. Follow me and do some actions. From the video, We can know when we talk about illness, we can ask “whats the matter with you?”and we can answer “I have a .”.2. T: From the video, we also know some illnesses. Lets learn how to talk about illness in group. ADemonstrate : B. Study in groups. C. Find the rules. D. Group report. Step 3 Work on 1b. 1. T: Whats the matter with them?Show the pictures one by one and ask. What are their names? Lets listen and number the names 1-5. Pay attention: write the numbers of the students not for the conversations.For example, Sarah has a cold, we write 1 after Sarah.2. listen.3. Check the answers. 4. Listen again. Match the reasons with the illnesses.Step 4 Group work. 1. Demonstrate 1c .2. Let students work in groups and make more similar conversations. 3. Let students show their conversations.Step 5 Work on 2a and 2b. 1. T: If we find something is wrong with someone, what advice can we give? Show the pictures ,ask and answer.
