Teaching process：Step1.Warming-up Show students a video and let them sing and dance along with the song.设计意图：根据七年级学生好动的特点，我让学生观看视频，并跟着视频边唱边跳，通过口动、眼动、耳动、全身动去参与，体验。不仅能使学生迅速进入主题，同时能够活跃课堂氛围，使学生轻松愉悦的开始一节课，从而激发他们学习英语的兴趣。Step 2. RevisionShow some pictures from students daily life to have a brain storming, get them review the activities they have learned before.设计意图：让学生观看他们自己日常活动的一些照片，直观地头脑风暴现在进行时态，并做出快速反应，在大脑中收集相关语言知识，内容上为后面的写作目标做好知识储备。 Step 2. Challenges Challenge one: the quickest eyesLook at the pictures and answer the questions as quickly as possible. Review the correct forms of the present participle on the board. Correct their mistakes.设计意图：利用多媒体设备，复习和检查学生对动词现在分词的掌握。学生动手拖动屏幕上的单词，可以调动学生的积极性，同时归纳和总结现在分词变化规律，老师对做对的学生给予奖励。 Challenge three: sentence competition Work in groups to make sentences by using the structure of Present Progressive Tense 设计意图：挑战三和挑战二的作用一样，进一步练习和巩固目标语言，使学生在语法结构上掌握现在进行时态规律，在句式结构上为后面的写作做好准备。 Challenge four: description Show students a picture about Marys family and ask them to describe the picture.
