Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section A 1 (1a-2c)教案杨税务中学 刘金红Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section A 1 (1a-2c) 一、教材分析 本课是人教版新目标英语八年级下册第四单元的第一课时,本单元主要是围绕着“谈论问题和给出建议”为中心话题,目的在于让学生能够运用所学知识谈论问题和困难.能根据对方所提出的问题,运用“You could/should., Why dont you/Why not给出一些合理的建议。使学生能正确认识生活中的一些困难,能采用正确的方式解决生活中的问题。 二、学情分析八年级的学生思想逐渐成熟起来,无论在生活中还是在学习中都有很多烦恼,他们想得到老师和家长的理解。本单元的话题最贴近学生的生活,能表达学生的心声,而且本节课的生词也比较少,所以他们参与度比较高,而且有话可说,因此大部分学生应该能够达到教学目标。三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:allow, wrong, midnight, fight2) 能掌握以下句型: Whats wrong? Im really tried because I studied until midnight last night. Why dont you go to sleep earlier this evening? You should talk to him so that you can say youre sorry. 2.语言技能目标 (1)能够运用所学知识谈论问题和困难、提出建议并做出选择; (2)能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。3. 情感态度价值观目标: 正确认识生活中的一些困难,能采用正确的方式解决生活中的问题。四、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) Talk about the problems. 2) Learn the new language points. 2. 教学难点:能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议,学会表达建议的一些方式。五、教学方法根据英语课程标准对学生的要求及学生的心理特点和认知发展规律,我主要采用了任务型教学法,多媒体辅助教学、情景教学法和听力训练法。在指导学生的学习方法和培养学生的学习能力方面主要采取以下方法:在课堂活动中把学生分成两人或六人的学习小组,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨,相互交流,以好带差,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。六、教学过程Step I Preparation1. 利用一段视频导入学生们平时在学校和生活中存在的问题。T: What problems do you have in the video? S1: They have too much homework . S2:They dont have enough sleep.S3:They have too many after-school classes.T: Do you have problems in your life?T: Whats your biggest problem?Step II Presentation1. Look at these problems. Do you think they are serious or not? Ss discuss with their partners and give some advice. I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like. My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends. allow sb. to do sth. 允许某人做某事 I have too many after-school classes. I got into a fight with my best friend.get into a fight with sb.跟某人打架2. Discuss these problems and give some advice.Why dont you.? Why not do.? You should. You could(1). I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. Why dont you go to sleep earlier this evening? (2)Ask the students to give some advice about the problemsStep III Listening Work on 1b: 1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1a again. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a. Work on 2a: T: Peter has some problems. What advice does his friend give him? Fill in the blanks with could or should. 1. Let Ss read the sentences in 2a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the words in the blank. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know the meaning of each sentence. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the letters (a-e) next to the advice in 2a. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Exercise: Listen again. Fill in the blanks. Peter had a _ with his best friend. He could _ him a letter. But he isnt good at writing letters.
