Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section B 1a-1e(教学设计)I Teaching aims: 1. Knowledge Aims:1) master the new words:Member , pressure, compete2) master the expressions: spend time alone, have a fight with, compete with,talk with family members3) master the sentences: I think Wei Ming should Although you may be, you should talk to them. Life shouldnt just be about 2. Ability Objective: 1) Students can improve their abilities of communication and cooperation by pair work and group work.2) Students can use the topic sentences to talk about problems and give advice.3. Moral Objects:: 1) Be able to ask for help, to give advice and adopt advice properly 2) Cultivate students good sense of cooperation, encourage students to express their ideas and wishes. Students can understand the difficulties in life in a positive way and learn to solve the problems in life in a right way.II Key points and difficulties1. key points:1) Be able to memorize and use the new words2) To improve studentslistening and speaking skills by pair work ,group work and imitation.2. difficulties:1) Give some reasonable advice according to the questions raised by the other students. Learn how to express your suggestions.2) listening practiceIII Teaching procedures Before listeningStep 1 Warming up 1. Daily greeting. 2. Reading Appreciation , and answer one question: What problems are they talking about ? 设计意图:设计灵感源于央视推出的文化情感类节目朗读者,利用平板,让学生配乐朗读几段关于压力的短文,并欣赏,导入到今天的主题pressure来。Step 2 Review (talk about problems) Mind Map: T: Students these days usually have a lot problems and worries. What problems do you usually have? 设计意图:回顾第一课时所学的有关描述问题的短语,以过渡到本节课所学新知Step 3 Look and say (give advice)T: Children these days have much stress from school and their family. When we have too much pressure, we should try to do something to lower(减少、削减)our pressure. How to lower your stress? What activities do you like to do to lower your stress/pressure?(learn the new word pressure) 设计意图:由先前所学单词stress来解释新学单词pressure,学生容易掌握和接受 1. Look and say 2. look and read Talk to parents or other family members 3. What other activities can you think of? For example: go fishing, go shopping ,eating , go bike riding 设计意图:发散思维,让学生尽可能多想出减压活动,为接下来的学生活动做铺垫Step 4. Pair work 1b A: What activities do you like to do to lower your stress/pressure?
