In this unit, students will learn how to talk about problems and give advice. The teaching in this unit is divided into two parts, Section A and Section B. The former part intends to make students involved in the learning activities while the later focuses on deepening the learning result.学情分析:In Grade Two, some students begin to love English; other students begin to lose their interests. So teachers have to encourage students to learn English, cultivate their studying interests and improve the abilities of students.教学目标:1. 知识与技能:(1) Master the key words and expressions: allow, wrong, (2)Master the sentence patterns: Whats wrong?Im really tried because I studied until midnight last night. What should I do?Why dont you go to sleep earlier this evening?(3)Learn how to ask for others opinions, how to give suggestions and how to respond to others advice.(4)Cultivate students listening and speaking skills.过程与方法:Through communicative and interactive methods, lead students to learn how to give advice and responses.情感态度与价值观To be able to realize other peoples feeling in communication.重点难点1. 教学重点:(1) Master the key words and sentence patterns.(2) Learn how to ask for others opinions, how to give suggestions and how to respond to othersadvice.2. 教学难点:Learn how to ask for others opinions, how to give suggestions and how to respond to others advice.教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.Greet 2.Lead-in DiscussWhats wrong with her?T: First, lets enjoy a dialogue.S1:Whats wrong with you?S2:I have a fight with my friends. What should I do?S1:I think you should talk to her and say sorry to her. So that you can be friends again.S2:Oh,I see. Thank you for your advice.T: Thank you. Can you tell me whats wrong with her?S3: She has a fight with her best friend. T: Yes, very good. Sit down, please. Today we are going to learn Unit4 why dont you talk to your parents? And you can say “Why dont you talk to your friends?”(设计意图:从学生的课前对话导入新课。)Step 2 Presentation1. (1)Do you have any problems in your daily life?(2)How do you solve them? Give some advice.(设计意图:用问题导入下一环节,让学生了解要学习的内容是关于问题和建议。)2.DrillsLook at the pictures and talk about the problems and give advice. Read the target language and let students read one by one.(1) Problem: I get into a fight with my best friend. Advice: You should say sorry to your friend.(2) Problem: I have to study too much and dont get enough sleep. Advice: You should go to sleep earlier.(3) Problem: I have too much homework. I dont have free time to do things I like. Advice: You should finish homework first and then go to the movies.(4) Problem: My parents dont allow me to hang out with friends. Advice: You should read some interesting books at home.(5) Problem: I have too many after-school classes. Advice: You should talk to your parents.(设计意图:通过图片,让学生学习目标语言。通过反复操练,让学生熟悉目标语言。)3.GameIf you know the answers, stand up.Show the Chinese meaning to students. If students know the answers, they can stand up and give out the answers.(设计意图: 通过竞争性的游戏,让学生对学过的目标语言进行检测。)Step 3 Listening 1. Before listening.Look at these problems. Do you think they are serious or not? Discuss with your partners.(1) I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. (2) I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like. (3) My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends.(4) I have too many after-school classes. (5) I got into a fight with my best friend.(设计意图:让学生在听之前了解要听的内容。)2. While listening.T: Listen and circle the problems you hear in la.(1)Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a.(2) Check the answers with the Ss.(设计意图:通过听,让学生完成任务。)3.After listening.Discussing. Discuss these problems and give some advice.(设计意图:根据1a的问题,学习用Why dont you? 和Why not ?句型给建议。为下一步的对话练习做准备。)Step 4 Pair work 1. Let Ss read the conversation in the box. 2. Use the information in 1a to make other conversations.3. Let some pairs act out their conversations. e.g. A: Whats wrong? B: Im really tired because I studied until midnight last night.A: Why dont you go to sleep earlier this evening? (设计意图:在展示学习和听力练习后,学生开始输出目标语言。)Step 5 Listening 1.Work on 2a: T: Listen to the tape and find out “Whats wrong with Peter?” And Peters friend is giving him advice, Fill in the blanks with could or should. (1)Let Ss read the sentences in 2a.(2) Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the words in the blank.(3) Play the recording again to check the answers. 2.Work on 2b:T: Listen again. Why doesnt Peter like his friends advice? Write the letters (a-e) next to the advice in 2a.(1)Let Ss read the sentences below. Make sure they know the meaning of each sentence.(2)Play the recording for the Ss to write the letters (a-e) next to the advice in 2a. Imagine these are your problems. Can you guess “Whats wrong with you?”T:For example, whats wrong with you?Ss: I have too many after-school classes.T:What should I do?Ss: Why dont you talk to your parents?T: whats wrong with you?S4: I have to study too much, so I dont get enough sleep .T:What should I do?S4: Why not go to sleep earlier?T: Whats wrong with you?S5: I have too much homework.T:What should I do?S5: Why not talk to your teachers?T: Whats wrong with you?S6: I got into a fight with my best friend.T:What should I do?S6: Why dont you talk to your friend?(设计意图:通过猜的游戏,让学生用学过的目标语言去完成任务,培养学生说的能力。)Step 7 Group workT:Do you have any problems in your daily life? Now lets do a role play.场景1:You want to buy a new bike, but you dont have enough money. So youre asking for advice.场景2:Your best friend always has a fight with his parents. So youre trying to help him. 场景 3:You think you have too much homework. And you are always sleepy in class. So you are asking your friends for help.Rules:从以上3个场景中任选一个场景,根据今天所学内容编一组短剧。或者自己随意设置一个场景,一些角色,根据今天所学内容编一组短剧。e.g. 四人一组编造对话,亲,要有创意哦,带上动作和表情哦。A: You look really _.Whats wrong?B: I _.
