Unit 10 Id like some noodles.Section A (1a-2c)一、教学目标:语言知识目标: 1.Master new words:noodles, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, special, would, would like, order, bowl, size, tofu.2.Master the key sentences:-What would you like?-Id like some noodles.-What kind of noodles would you like? Id like beef and tomato noodles.-What size would you like? Id like a large bowl.-Im not sure yet. Presentation:New words:1.Show some pictures about food like noodle, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, tofu and fish.2.Do a fast reaction and play a game: ”whats missing?”.(record points) 3. Finish 1a. Pay attention to the differences between countable nouns and uncountable nouns.Key sentences:1.-What would you like? -Id like some noodles. Set a scene about ordering food in a restaurant, present the new sentence structure, then guide them do a pair work. (record points) 2.What kind of noodles would you like? Id like beef and tomato noodles.a. Set a scene: in a Noodle house, there are three kinds of specials for customers to choose. explain the new word “special” in English and let Ss guess the Chinese meaning.b. Show the specials and teach Ss to learn how to express them. T: What does special 1 have?S: It has beef and tomatoes.T: Good. We call it beef and tomato noodles, or beef noodles with tomatoes.c. Ss read after the teacher.d. The teacher shows special2 and special3 in this way, too. e. The teacher presents the key sentence structure: f. Make a conversation in pairs(record points) 3.What size would you like? Id like a small/medium/large bowl. a. Ss look at three bowls of noodles and learn the new words: “size” and “bowl” and the key sentence structure.b. The teacher guides Ss to do a pair work. (record points) Step3: Listening1. Listening: 1c. T: In a restaurant, a man is ordering food, a woman is taking his order. Listen carefully, what kind of noodles does the man want?Ss listen to the tape and finish 1c, then check the answer.Present the listening material, teach the key sentence: Im not sure yet. Are there any vegetables in the beef noodles?
