Unit 2 What time do you go to school?The first period一、 Teaching aims:1. Language aim:a. 学会不同时间的直接表达方法b. 使用第一、二、三人称描述日常活动2. Ability aim:描述并安排好自己的日常活动,了解并能转述他人的日常生活安排,提高语言交际能力、自学能力,养成良好的作息习惯。二、 Teaching content:1. Patterns:(1)-What time is it?-Its (2)-What time do you / they /we usually? -We /they / you usually at -What time does he /she ususally? -He /She usuallyat2. Vacabulary:get up ,get dressed , brush teeth , take a shower , eat breakfast , go to school三、 Teaching steps:Step 1. Lead-in We know there is an old saying:Time is money . Time is life .Time is everything .So please treasure time , study hard . Come on !Then do you know how to ask the time and tell the time .Step 2. Presentation (展示)1. Listen to an English song and find the answer : How to ask the time.How to tell the time.2. Ask and help answer : -Whats the time?-Its 3. Show some clocks and let students ask and answer.4. Practice this dialogue in groups.Step 3. Presentation(展示)Introduce new words and phrases with the help of PPT . Tell the students :Yesterday I had a busy morning.1. Let students match the activities with the pictures.2. Look at these pictures and ask and answer :-What time do you usually ?-I usually get up at .3. Now practice this dialogue in pairs. Talk about your busy morning.Step 4. “Guessing Game”Now lets play a “guessing game”. Its Tonys Plan for This Time.1. Practice:-When does Tony usually get up ?-He usually gets up at six ocolck.2. Look at this picture and practice this dialogue in groups above.Step 5. Ending and homework1. Let students read these old sayings about time.2. Say: Now its Happy Time. Lets enjoy a Chinese song.3.
