参赛教学设计基本信息 作者姓名韩文科性 别男出生年月1971.8工作单位 甘肃省庆阳第五中学 邮政编码754000通讯地址甘肃省庆阳第五中学 联系电子邮箱519415690所用教科书书名新目标(G0 for it)所教年级七年级所教册次、单元七年级(下册)第七单元 Its raining .设计主题Its raining1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明 本节依据课程标准,结合学生学情、生活设计几个“任务型活动”, 任务型的教学活动,是让学习者通过运用语言来完成各种各样的交际活动。学习者通过表达、沟通、交涉、解释、询问等各种语言活动形式来学习和掌握语言。新目标英语中的具体语言目标是通过各种各样的Tasks来实现的。整个教学过程中,各种语言结构与语言功能与不同的学习任务有机的结合。任务活动所谋求的效果不是一种机械的语言训练,而是侧重在执行任务中学生自我完成任务的能力和策略的培养;重视形式在完成任务过程中的参与和在交流活动中所获得的经验。因此本节课我将始终引导学生通过完成具体的任务活动来学习语言,让学生为了特定的学习目的去实施特定的语言行动,通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验,让学生在用中学,在学中用(Learning by using, learning for using)。 2.教学背景分析教学内容分析: 本单元的中心话题是谈论天气及人们正在进行的活动。第一课时的内容围绕天气展开听、说活动。通过第一课时的学习,使学生掌握描述天气的基本词汇及对天气的提问,学会坐天气预报,学会叙述在不同的天气背景下做什么。通过以上活动,使学生能够在实践中体会到学习英语的乐趣,更积极地运用目标语言,培养学生在实际生活中综合运用所学语言的能力。 学生情况分析:初一学生经过一学期多的学习,有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力,正逐渐向读、写过渡,同时,学生们对英语学习还保持着较浓厚的兴趣。经过一学期的新课程理念的熏陶及实践,有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实验的能力。 3.教学目标分析一 知识目标:1. 重点词汇:rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, study。2. 认读词汇:Moscow, Boston, hows = how is, humid,3重点句型:Hows the weather? Its raining / windy / cloudy.Whats the weather like? Its snowing。What are you doing? Im watching TV.What are they doing? Theyre studying.Whats he / she doing? He / She is playing basketball.二 学能目标:通过本节课的学习,学生能熟练地用英语询问、表达天气和人们正在做的事。三 情感目标:教育学生善于观察天气和描述周围的事物。4.教学重点、难点分析教学重点:重点词汇:rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, study。 重点句型:Hows the weather? Its raining / windy / cloudy.Whats the weather like? Its snowing。What are you doing? Im watching TV.What are they doing? Theyre studying.Whats he / she doing? He / She is playing basketball.教学难点: 运用所学语言知识询问、表达天气和描述人们正在进行的活动。5.教学过程设计(中文为主 + 所教学科目标语言)步骤一:Warming up -Talk about the weather.设计意图:预习检测并通过谈论天气导入新课。 T: Do you often watch the weather report on TV? We know in different places there is different weather. In the same place, there is different weather in different seasons. This class we will learn something about the weather and the activities that people are doing. Please look at the following pictures and answer the question: How is the weather in the pictures?Show the pictures to the students one by one and let them say, then write down the new words.S1: In Picture 1 its rainy.S2: In Picture 2 its cloudy.Then show the following. rain-rainy-raining, wind-windy, cloud-cloudy, sun-sunny, snow-snowy-snowing步骤二:Talking about the picture (1a)设计意图:学生读图后将所给表天气的单词与相应图片配对,从而学习raining, snowing, windy, cloudy等表示天气状况的词,为后面将要进行的听力训练准备充足的语言材料。Task 1. Ask the students to talk about the picture in 1a. T: How is the weather in Picture a? S1: Its rainy. / Its raining.T: How is the weather in Picture b?S2: Its sunny.T: What about Picture c? How is the weather?S3: In Picture c: Its snowy. / Its snowing.Task 2. Ask the students to read the numbered words and match them with the right pictures. Check the answers.步骤三:Listening practice (1b)设计意图 学生听录音并根据所获信息将所给表示地点名称的词填入相应的图中,一方面学习这些表示城市名称的词,另一方面也为下一步的 pairwork练习做好铺垫。 Task1. Listen and writePlay the recording. Ask the students to repeat these city names after the recording.Then ask the students to listen to the recording again and write the city names in the box. Task 2. Listen and repeat Play the tape again and ask the students to read the conversations after the recording. Task 3. Check the answers by asking the students the following questions. 步骤四Pairwork: oral practice (1c)设计意图:学生在教师指导下,以pairwork的形式口头练习图片中句型,初步掌握询问天气状况的方法 Task 1. Ask the students to tell how the weather is in each picture.T: Now look at the picture and tell me the weather in each city. For example:In Picture a. Its in Toronto. Its raining. S2: In Picture b. Its in Beijing. Its sunny. Task 2. Ask the students to listen to the recording once again and make conversations in pairs. T: You are in one of the places in the picture above. Listen to the recording again and make your own conversations talking about the weather. Sample conversations:1) S1: How is the weather in Beijing?S2: Its sunny. 2) S1: How is the weather in Toronto?S2: Its raining. Task 3. Further practice: Ask the students to go on practicing the conversations. (See Teaching resources )Show the following. A: How is the weather in Shanghai / in Beijing / in Dalian / in Moscow?B: Its cloudy / sunny / windy / snowing / raining.A sample conversation:S1: How is the weather today / in Beijing / Shanghai / Dalian / your hometown?S2: Its sunny / rainy / cloudy / snowy / windy. 步骤五 Listening practice (2a, 2b)设计意图 :2a要求学生听录音后根据录音中对人物活动的描述将所给图片标号排序,从听入手学习现在进行时的用法;2b要求学生听录音并根据录音将人物及其活动配对,为下一步的pairwork准备充足的语言材料; Task 1. Ask the students to listen to the recording and number the pictures according to the tape. Play the recording and check the answers. Task 2. Ask the students to listen again and match the names with the activities. Play the recording and then check the answers.Task 3. Ask the students to listen to and repeat the conversation after the recording. 步骤六Pairwork:oral practice (2c) 设计意图:要求学生针对图画内容,谈论图画中人物的活动,进一步练习现在进行时的用法Task : Substitution drills: Ask the students to make conversations in pairs. Show the following. Ask the students to ask and answer in pairs about the people.Sample conversations:1) S1: Whats Jeff doing?S2: He is playing computer games. 2) S1: Whats your sister doing?S2: Shes watching TV.3) S1: Whats the teacher doing?S2: Shes cooking.步骤七 Test in class (See Teaching resources
