(Section B 2a, 2b, 2c) 赵秋晨Good morning, everyone,Today, its a pleasure for me to stand here and Im very pleased to have such an opportunity to share some of my teaching ideas with you. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Zhao Qiuchen, and I am working as an English teacher in 60 Middle School.My topic today is taken from of Unit 7 in Student Book 2. The topic of this unit is “it is raining.”, I will talk Section B 2a, 2b, 2c in this unit. Such as it is rainyThey have learned“Can/cant ” in the first book The Ss will learn more about it in the following lessons in the unitStatus and functionThe topic of this unit is about personal abilities and clubs. The first period serves as an introduction and a lead in part. The materials in talking are mostly from the real life and are familiar to students, so they will be very interested in it. Teaching keys and difficultiesthe focus of this lesson is to help the Ss to communicate with each other. The difficulty is to help the Ss make conversations freely using the target language.Knowledge Objects1. learn to use modal verb can.2. Learn to use Yes/ No questions and short answers.3.learn to use What questions .Ability Objectstrain the Ss listening and speaking abilities and develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.Moral Objects Let students experience the fun of learning English through practice, and have the courage to show their talents,.Talk about each others specialties and hobbies through group activities . Analysis of the Students situationthey can express their thoughts and communicate with each other with simple English well. They have learned “play” and“can”in the first bookThe topic of this unit is about personal abilities and clubs the Ss will be interested in the topic, which is related to their real life. The Teaching MethodsListening and speaking class1.Warming-up activities to guide to the new lessons A series of questions and pictures are used to attracts students attention. Free talk (3mins)I think it is important to have a free talk with students, it can help them get relax before class.Step 2 Presentation(8mins)This activity introduces some new vocabulary and provide oral practice using the target language. I think it is much easier for the Ss to learn if I present the key structures one by one and they can master the structures quickly by doing this.Step 3 Pairwork(12mins)To provide situations to review learned knowledge for the next step listening and make sure the Ss can grasp the key words and phrases and learn to Step 4 Listening(12mins)express their own opinion.It gives Ss practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversations, and train them to cooperative and communicate with others.
