Unit 7 Its raining Period 2教学思路:通过复习上一节课学习天气的基本词句,引出新课.围绕在不同的天气里,人们在做什么活动这一主线,先学习新的从温度方面表达天气的方法,设置情景,讨论在不同的天气里,人们在做什么活动。围绕主线,设计了以下教学活动:1.阅读语句,讨论描述天气情况,发挥想象力,想象你正在做什么活动。2.听力活动;3.看图讨论;4.看图描写等一系列活动来实现这一目标。教学思想:以学生为主体,采取多种形式,激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生感知,体验,实践,参与,合作等方式,实现任务目标,获得成就感。教学分析:Teaching aims 1.Master the key words : warm hot cool dry cold2. Be able to use the target structures: -How is the weather in.? /whats the weather like in? -Its .-Whats she/he doing? She/He is -Whatre you/they doing?We/They areAbility Objects:1.Be able to talk about the weather in different places and what people are doing in these places.2. Train studentsability of speaking and listening.Moral Objects:学习不同地方的天气情况,以及人们在做什么活动。配乐欣赏美景,激发学生热爱大自然,热爱祖国大好河山思想。Teaching important Points:Master the key words and target language structuresTeaching Difficulties:Train students listening skills and speaking skills.Teaching methods:1.Do some listening ,writing and speaking practice to master the target language.2.情境交际法,多媒体展示法和合作学习法.教学时间:一课时Teaching Procedures:Step 1. Lead-in1. Play a piece of piano music 秋日私语. 2. Show some pictures and ask:T: Hows the weather? Let students answer.Then have students ask and answer the last picture. Step 2. Presentation1. Show some pictures of four seasons.T: Which season is it? Ss: Its spring.(teacher can help them if they dont know) T: Hows the weather in spring?Ss: Its warm.(In the same way, finish teaching the words “hot cool dry cold ” 2. Match the words with the pictures in 1a. Then work in pairs, ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures in 1a. -Hows the weather in picture d? -Its dry. 3. 配乐播放一组图片,展现祖国大好河山在不同季节,不同天气下的美。Step 3 Discussing1. Talk about the pictures in different weather : Hows the weather ? What are the people doing? 2. Talking and imaging. Read these sentences and talk about the weather ,imaging what you are doing.(培养学生的想象力) Step 4 Listening1. Let students listen and number the pictures (14) on page38 in 2a.2. Listen again. Match the names with the activities in 2b.3. Talk about what the people are doing in 2a with a partner.Step 5 Practice1. Show some pictures. Yuanyuan from CCTV is interviewing people in five different places.2. Work in pairs to ask and answer “Hows the weather? Whats she/he doing?Whatre they doing?”3. Let students fill in the blanks in the last one .Step 6. WritingShow a picture of your family. Write a short passage according to the picture,Tell us what your family are doing and how the weather is.Step 7 Summarize.Today weve learned some new words about the weather and learned how to talk about the in different places and what people are doing in these places.
