Show the pictures of some activities and some kinds of musical instruments on the projector. Have a free talk about the pictures with the students. Help the students be aware of the knowledge we have learned. Step 2 Presentations and PracticeLearn the new words,ask some students to try to read the new words,if they are wrong ,the teacher will correct them,and read after the teacher.,then read one by one,make sure that all the students can master them. First, check the students pronunciations of the new words. Make sure that students have the right pronunciations. Then, students finish these tasks.Task 1 I can classify the musical instruments and different activities! 1. Students finish this task according to Activity 1a. Have them fill in the blanks in 1a. 2. Then, ask some pairs to perform their conversations before class. Praise the students who do the best. Then, the teacher can list some important words, phrases or some sentences on the blackboard. Explain them in details if necessary.e.g. (1) play +棋类/球类 下棋,打球 play chess, play basketball, play the +西洋乐器 弹/拉乐器 play the guitar, play the violin, (2) can + 动词原形 能/会做某事 Can you swim?
