Say to the students It is a dictionary. Is it big or small?2. Teach the words expensive and cheap. Tell the students the prices of the watches. Hold up one of them and ask the students Is it expensive or cheap?3. Introduce the words calendar, notebook and diary. Revise the adjectives beautiful, ugly, thick, thin, old and new. Ask some students to make sentences using the adjectives and the items they have just learned.4. Show Transparency. Play the Pupils Book Cassette and point to the pictures.
