Could you please clean your room?Could you please? 请求别人做某事这是could的一般疑问句,并非询问对方有无能力,而是向对方提出请求,有礼貌地请求允许干某事, 意思是“请你,好吗?”。could是can的过去式,但在本句型中并不表示时间上的区别,而只有语气上的不同。could没有can那么肯定,而是较为委婉,使这种请求听起来显得更加客气,更含有尊敬的意味。如:Could you please take out the rubbish? 能请你倒掉垃圾吗?肯定回答: Yes, I can. / Yes, sure. / Sure, Id love to. 否定回答: No, I cant. / Sorry, I cant. 注意: (1) 在进行实际回答中,要注意人称的对应。 (2) 这里Could是一种委婉、客气的礼貌用语,作肯定否定回答时,要用can, cant来代替。精题演练:一、用do和make填空:1. I didnt see a car coming. 译为 .see sb. doing sth. 看到某人正在做某事, see sb. do sth. 看到某人做某事全过程。与该用法相同的单词有:watch, notice, hear, look例如:昨天我们看到他正在操场上打蓝球。Yesterday we saw him on the playground. 3. Why did you call so many times?译为 ? so many times 那么多次,so many 后面跟可数名词的复数,so much后面跟不可数名词。例如:他去过历史博物馆许多次。He went to the history museum .外面嘈杂声很大,以致我们不能听到老师的话。There was outside that we couldnt hear the teacher.4. I was in the kitchen helping my mom. 译为 .helping my mom 帮助我的妈妈,动名词作伴随状语。例如:他站在风中等他的妈妈。He stood in the wind his mother.5.
