We will discuss this period from the following parts: teaching material, teaching method, studying method, teaching procedure and teaching reflection.First, let me talk about the teaching material. Part One Analysis of the Teaching MaterialFirst , Content: This unit is about how to be cool at college, which is attractive and helpful to the students. Through my teaching, I hope I can help the students have the correct views of learning.Secondly, I want to tell something about the students. They are new college students , and everything is new for them . Most of them are weak in English, Some of them dont have the strong view of learning , they dont know what to do next exactly in English learning. Although the students have the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, They still need many opportunities to practice what they have learned and to develop their learning ability by themselves and cooperative learning ability.Therefore, after analyzing the teaching material and students, Id like to put forward the teaching aims. If you follow his advice , you will reach your goals and have a bright future. At least 120 words.Thank you for your listening !Part five - Teaching Reflection This period plays a very important part in the whole book , for it is the first lesson of the new term . Before the class , I have prepared well about the teaching material , the teaching method and analysis of the students ;I have made the main and difficult points clear: to pronounce and spell the new words correctly ;to comprehend the passage and use the new phrases skillfully.I mainly used two kinds of the teaching method: task-based teaching method and communicative teaching method. From the class ,the students could follow the teachers advice: work hard ,keep up from day one , set goals , work for them step by step, make the most of your time and learn as much as possible, and they will reach their goals and have a bright future.At the beginning of the period, I set two questions: do you know the differences between the college life and the middle school life? What is the purpose of going to college? It naturally leads to the new period and arouses the students interest to focus on the topic : How to be cool at college?T
