Today Im glad to explain the outline of my teaching plan for Unit 6 (Reading) Book 9,My explanation falls into the follwing four parts.Part 1 Analysis of the teaching materials1. Status and FunctionThis lesson is the sixth lesson in Unit6.Its also a main point in this unit. The teaching materials are designed to present the target language by talking about the music the students like. Help the students realize the usage of attributive clause with “that” and “who”. It can also help to train Ss speaking, reading, listening and writing skills.2. Analysis of SsSs have learned how to use The Attributive Clause and they can talk about the music freely. This lesson they are go on learning them. After learning this lesson, theyll get a further understanding of it.3. Teaching aims and demands Knowledge ObjectsKey Vocabulary Taste good, keep/stay healthy,get together,to be honest,be in agreement,even if/though,be good /bad for,take care of/look after/care for/babysit,stay away from,increase the risk of and so on.Text: I only eat food that tastes good Ability Objects Train students ability of identify main idea Train students ability of understanding words in context Train students ability of reading for special information Train students ability of writing.
