Reading and underliningStep 1Next you are to read and underline all the useful expressions or collocations in the passage. WritingHere the students will first learn what a news report is like. So that they will know what they should do when writing a report. The purpose of this step is to let students use what they have learned to finish a project by writing. The teacher can show them some English news reports to get them to understand what a news report is like.Plan: Ask the students to work in groups of 4.Let them discuss what the film star has done, and how he might try to lie about it.Prepare: Ask the students to look at the resources such as magazines, newspapers, Internet sites or TV on entertainment to get as much information as they can.
