comparing cultures要求学生两人一组就技术、媒体对文化、语言的影响进行讨论。1.4 scientific breakthroughs 分三部分: reading向学生介绍了几位科学先驱者对科学、对人类所做的伟大贡献,使学生尊敬科学,热爱科学;vocabulary 介绍了合成词的构成方式,帮助学生扩大词汇量;speaking 要求学生两人一组就阅读部分展开讨论,进一步深层理解阅读课文。1.5 communication workshop分三部分:writing 要求学生先阅读一篇“太空 最后一个尚待开发的领域”的文章,并完成相应的文后练习题。然后根据写作指导,最终完成一篇自己感兴趣的话题的短文;listening 要求学生听一首对将来预测的歌曲,使学生了解将来奇妙的世界;speaking 先要求学生听一段口头报告,然后给出学生一些常用的口头表达法,向学生介绍口头表达的一些技巧和方法,最后要求学生在全班同学面前就某一话题进行口头汇报和展示。 1.6 language awareness5首先让学生阅读一篇关于英国某一乡村的文章,然后借助此文章让学生学习代词的用法。1.7 culture corner让学生阅读一篇介绍中国古代四大发明的文章,根据文章讨论问题,从而增强学生的民族自豪感。 1.8 bulletin board 向学生介绍了在将来有可能发明的两样东西,从而激发学生的想象力,各自写出最希望将来出现的新发明。 1.9 unit diary不仅帮助学生总结回顾本单元所学的知识,而且提示同学制定下一单元计划,以利于更好地学习。2. 教材重组2.1将warm-up , futurology中的reading, culture corner,bulletin board及workbook (page 67 )中的练习题7整合在一起上一节“阅读课(i)”。 2.2将futurology中的grammar, language in use及workbook (pages 66和67) 中的练习题1- 6整合在一起上一节“语法课”。2.3将artificial intelligence中的listening, communication workshop中的listening及workbook (page 68 ) 中的练习题1- 2整合在一起上一节“听力课”。2.4将artificial intelligence中的vocabulary,scientific breakthroughs 中的vocabulary, workbook (pages 69和70) 中的练习题3-6和2, workbook(pages 76和77)中的练习题1-6 (练习题2除外)及workbook(page 79)中的练习题3整合在一起上一节“词汇课”。2.5将scientific breakthroughs中的reading, speaking, workbook (page 72)中的reading, workbook (page 70)的练习题1, workbook (page 73)的练习题1-2 及workbook (page 78)的练习题2整
